The hotel is old, but clean and quaint.
The hotel is old, but clean and quaint. The rooms are modern. I had one of the smallest, most reasonable rooms and it was perfect for a good night's rest on our bike ride along the P'Tit Tain du Nord rail trail. The restaurant in the Hotel is open 9AM - 9:30PM but we were back on the trail too early to get breakfast there.Guest review byWarrenCanada - 10.0

The chalet was very comfortable, it make our stay relaxing and enjoyable with a beautiful view. This was one of the best rental accommodation for a pre- Christmas with our family that we had. The commute to the ski resort was easy. We would certainly recommend it, and the communication with the host was very good and timely.Guest review byDianeCanada - 8.0
Beautiful and spacious room.
Beautiful and spacious room. Very peaceful location by a lake. Canoes, kayaks and peddal boats available for guests. Well equiped kitchen and barbecue outdoors for self catering. Ping pong table and board games available. Not near any towns, so bring all the food/drinks you need. Would definitely stay there again!Guest review byJames - 4.0
The fridge was not in my room..
The fridge was not in my room..I had to walk around the building and upstairs to a community mini fridge. Some pillows did not have pillow cases. There was no door for the bathroom. The same soap was to be used for washing hands and also for in the shower. It smelled old. The toilet did not flush and it would rise. There was no plunger. The shower sprayed in random directions. I had to ask for the driveway to be plowed so I could get out. It was 830am ..I would expect it to already be plowed as there was a snow storm the night before. The breakfast was late in the morning (past when we would leave for the resort) and did not sound good. If we had decided to get the breakfast we would have had to put our boots on and walk to the other building 100m away and then bring it back to our room and then walk back again to return the dishes. The sauna was listed at that time as something we could use however it was also a walk away in the middle of nowhere. It listed there was a hot tub (I see the wording has changed to spa bath) it's literally just a regular tub with a few tiny jets ? I don't even think i would call them jets they were so small. There was also a camera outside my door which I wondered if it could see in my room. No cell service in my room. Wifi was only available in a room that I had to go outside and around the building and up the stairs.Guest review byJenniferCanada - 2.0

My recent stay with Francois at La Macaza turned out to be a real letdown. Even though I booked the apartment three months ahead, things took a nosedive just a day before we were supposed to arrive. Everything seemed okay until the property owner emailed to check our arrival time. When I said we'd be there by 6pm, Francois said that wouldn't work because check-in was only between 1pm and 2pm. I tried to work out another time, but he just shrugged me off and told me to sort it out with the booking site. Long story short, Francois didn't stick to the agreement, and we ended up losing all our money. It's really disappointing how La Macaza cares more about making money than keeping their word. They make it too easy to take advantage of people. Bottom line: My experience with La Macaza was a big disappointment, and I'd warn anyone thinking of staying there to reconsider and look for somewhere else that's more reliable.Guest review byshunCanada - 10.0

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cottage! From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the owner took great care to ensure the space was immaculately clean and well-maintained. The cottage itself was spacious, providing us with plenty of room to relax. One of the highlights of our experience was the owner's exceptional availability and willingness to assist with any questions or concerns we had during our stay. Their attentiveness truly added an extra layer of comfort and convenience to our trip. Moreover, the location of the cottage was perfect for us, as it provided a serene and peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, while still being conveniently accessible to local attractions and amenities. Overall, our experience at this cottage was nothing short of excellent. We couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable and relaxing getaway. We highly recommend this cottage to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home. We look forward to returning in the near future!Guest review byPauloCanada - 10.0
Great summer vacation place honestly.
Great summer vacation place honestly. You dont get the winter crowd and there is so much to do. It will definitely be more slow paces but theres stuff for families and couples like mini golf, luge, gondola up the mountains, laser tag (surprisingly so much fun), helicopter ride (surprisingly not expensive), a lake cruise, ziplining in the mountains (MUST DO!), white water rafting and many many more!Guest review byNadiahSingapore - 8.0

The condo is relatively recent and in a beautiful location with convenient access to the resort. Unique in its own way! We had an overall comfortable stay. It was clean, the beds were comfy, the shower worked well and the kitchen was rather well equipped. However the stove/oven was a little hard to figure out (slow, small, funny controls etc.) (maybe because I’m used to induction). The main disappointment was wifi. If you need it for work - forget it!! It’s slow, unstable, unreliable, almost inexistent. I had to connect to my personal hotspot. I’ve stayed before in other units at Les Suites sur lac and the internet was fine. And also this unit is on the basement level , in the third building - you don’t really get the view of the lake , it is blocked by the trees. The pool is only open in the summer, it’s not heated. There is no hot tub on the premises. Which could be a nice addition! We enjoyed our stay and would like to come back again (given that the internet issue is resolved). Thanks!Guest review byMarcelaCanada - 10.0

Beautiful place packed with mountains and lakes and just fresh air and no sounds. There are some nice trails to follow and very well indicated. the roads are well taken care of in the wintertime, but be prepared to go up and down so make sure your car is suitable for the mountain roadsGuest review byNadineCanada - 8.0

The park is very arrogant, it designed purposely to challenge people instead providing convenience to visitors. For example the very modernization discovery center built 500m away from the parking lot. I saw disabled people and people with baby’s or young children have to carried their stuff to the center with difficulties. Yet, staff can drive in using their parking entrance that is blocked to the visitors. I have never seen any visitor center designed like this from all over the world!Guest review byAnningUSUnited States
