I think Halifax is probably the most pleasant user friendly city that I have visited in north America. Far nicer than Toronto and Montreal. No sign of the usual poverty or even homeless. Very clean city with pleasant green suburbs, nice views and amenities.Guest review byTREVORUnited Kingdom - 10.0

For its size, Baddeck really has a lot to offer, with great little restaurants - the High Wheeler Bakery was awesome! They have a place where you can hear authentic Scottish music. They have the Alexander Graham Bell Museum. They are next to the Cabot trail. We used the Tripvia auto tour for the trail and it was so helpful - it played automatically as you approached each area and gave the history and what to watch for at 50 spots along the trail.Guest review byLindaUnited States - 8.0

Be sure to go to Burncoat Provincial Park (about 30 min away) and walk on the ocean floor during low tide. We went to Captain Murphy's for dinner - staff was great and food was good. Fish was well cooked. It was raining most of the time we were there so we didn't tour the town muchGuest review byMichelynCanada - 10.0
I arrived from the UK around midday at airport.
I arrived from the UK around midday at airport. Called for courtesy bus which arrived quickly. Arrived at hotel around 1pm expecting to have to wait for room. I was able to get into my room right away , which was great as I had been travelling for approximately 16 hours and was tired. Had a quick meal in restaurant which was very good. My family arrived a few hours later and we had a nice meal in the hotel. My grandchildren loved the pool. Will definitely visit again.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

When I left (For the second year running) there are no facilities to obtain refreshments if you have a long wait. (I arrived because of check out time 11:30 and the flight did not leave until 16:45) That is a long wait without the ablitly to have some refreshments.Guest review byAnthonyUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Lunenburg is a good location and cute town to explore the mid-eastern area of Nova Scotia. One day we kayaked with Pleasant Kayaking, which was a 15 minute drive. It is a highlight of our trip. The town of Mahone Bay is nice too.Guest review byPatriciaUnited States - 10.0
We both love the town and the sights of a working harbour.
We both love the town and the sights of a working harbour. The food is amazing at least what we got to partake as our time was limited. We ate at The Sydney Street Pub and Cafe which was a wee walk from our awesome B and B. The waitress was wonderful as we were kind of rushed time wise to attend a concert on Long Island and had to factor in a ferry crossing time as well as the drive there. Will definitely come back to this charming eclectic town.Guest review byKimCanada - 10.0
I did not like the shampoo and conditioners bottles.
I did not like the shampoo and conditioners bottles. Too hard to squeeze. But the room was great. It was clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great. And the people who worked there were very professional and nice.Guest review byDebraUnited States - 8.0

This charming village is a perfect location to explore west side of the Cabot Trail, among many the Skyline trail. There are several good restaurants (a bit $$) and a lovely Cafe (Marguerite). Like all over in Nova Scotia, people are welcoming and friendly.Guest review byLuciaCanada
