While in Whitehorse we visited the Whitehorse Museum, the Beringia Museum, Miles Canyon and spent a few hours at the hot springs north of town. The museums are fabulous--so much interesting history in the Yukon, The canyon is a short drive from town and is very interesting--there is a suspension bridge over the river and the river runs very fast through the canyon. The hot springs are fabulous but a bit pricey. There are several different pools with varying temperatures, sauna, steam room, and relaxation room. It was welcome after a travel day. We also drove down to Skagway Alaska to see this old gold rush town. There were several cruise ships in port and the town was very busy. The drive from Whitehorse and back was spectacular even in the rain.Guest review byLewis - 10.0
Dawson city is an amazing little town.
Dawson city is an amazing little town. They have excellent food in all the places we went too. The best place was the Aurora restaurant. You can walk easily around Dawson city and enjoy the many colourful places around town. Plus the beautiful views. Best place we went to was the Gold Trail Jewellers. The guy who makes the jewellery “Andrew” is amazing. Andrew has been making jewellery for 52 years and still loves making it. I got a couple of things from him and they all feel good energy from each piece I put on. Would recommend 100% to stop in and watch him work and buy a little something to take home with Yukon gold.Guest review byNicoleCanada - 8.0

There isn't a lot in Haines Junction, but there is a small grocery store, gas stations and a few restaurants. The views are amazing, and it is in a good location for Kluane National Park - the visitor & cultural centre was interesting and also located in Haines Junction. We ate at 1016 pub which was right next to our hotel, really convenient. There isn't a lot of choice on the menu, but great to grab a burger. We ate here 2 nights, but the first night we waited nearly an hour for food which was disappointing. Outside seating great when weather allows. I enjoyed a 'Caesars' cocktail which I would recommend trying!Guest review by1234CharlotteUnited Kingdom - 10.0

From the accurate and yet self-effacing name of the property, we were not sure what to expect. So we were very pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful, modern and spacious full-featured bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Some people may find the lack of interaction with the host to be a bug, but we found it to be a feature, as we are not gregarious. :-) Full marks!Guest review byDomander - 10.0
I liked the location the most. The views were amazing.
I liked the location the most. The views were amazing. The food was very gourmet. Had it been two weeks earlier l think we would have been kayaking as planned. The season was starting to turn and we had already spent extended time in a canoe in Dawson, so we did not experience what we originally planned. The wine and beer selection was good, and pretty well the same as what we experienced all over the territory. After ten days, this was the only location that we were able to see the Aurora. The chairs placed outside, and balconies were all placed well for viewing. Complimentary hot chocolate and firewood were much appreciated.Guest review byBarbCanada - 8.0

Nice city, a good amount of hotels to choose from, but stay away from the Raven inn, Canada’s best value inn River view, family inn hotel, Choose hotel by what your budget will allow, rent a car up there stay a few days at most, then head out on the highway and see the areas up and around Whitehorse. In a weeks time (rental period) we saw Braeburn, Dawson city, Carmacks, Haines junction, Haines Alaska, drove a little bit on the Dempster highway, about ten minutes worth..lol..don’t want to have any problems to the rental, took the Alaska ferry from Haines up to Skagway, then up into the mountains from Skagway, carcross, and then back to Whitehorse.Guest review byGlenCanada - 10.0
Dawson City was a blast from the past.
Dawson City was a blast from the past. Because we visited in September, it seems that some of the interest points were closed. However, there is lots to see, especially if you have a vehicle and can drive out to see where the dredges are and across the river to go on the "Top of the World" highway. Many good restaurants.Guest review byBruce& RuthCanada - 10.0
We stayed at this rental driving to and from Anchorage.
We stayed at this rental driving to and from Anchorage. It is super clean, great bed, comfortable couch, bathroom has plenty of room, nice breakfast provided (in room) with several options. It is a large studio and extremely functional. The view of the mountains is amazing! Nice owners-we would definitely stay here again. This place is wonderful!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Limited options in the city for morning to late afternoon food. A lot of the better choices don't open before 5pm on the weekdays. There are several options for guided walking tours. The Sourdough Saloon has the Sour Toe Cocktail - google it. The ferry across to the Top Of The World Highway is free, and the staff love to talk to the travellers.Guest review bydavidCanada
