I’ve had a long stopover and needed a place to rest and sleep. Airport pickup was excellent, its short drive, checking was swift and I was in crispy clean sheets after a 10 hours of flight from Sydney. I had a great rest and shower, they drove me to airport for my next flight to Istanbul. I’ve arrived fresh and rested. Thanks to hotel staff🧿 it was excellent. I will be staying there again on my way back home to Australia again. I highly recommend.Guest review byZaferAustralia - 8.0
You better be fit!
You better be fit! We walked 127 flights of steps and 17,000 steps and yet we only touched the bare surface of this magnificent mountain range with its stunning flora & fauna, wild & aggressive monkeys and breathtaking temples.Guest review byNot-so-slim nowUnited Kingdom - 6.0

The irrigation system is interesting to see and the "hiking" in the mountains is nice to do and challenging enough for standard people. Old town is like most of Chinese ancient cities only shops and restaurants one after one and no longer interesting and genuine. Also, we got confirmation that China is less and less foreigners friendly. Exemple : my wife (Chinese) was in one cloth shop and I was just waiting outside with ombrellas (since it was raining). After a while she asked me to come in to see some skirt she wanted to purchase. I was ask to wear a mask (no problem basically with this) while nodoby else (shop staff and any other clients) was wearing a mask! When my wife asks why me and only me? The answer was because I am a foreigner!!! Knowing that Chinese borders are closed to (most) of foreigners for more than 3 months... it seems that the communication of imported cases to be foreign cases in chinese wording is working quite well and that the virus is then becoming synonymous of foreigners for a part of chinese population. Well done! By the way, we enjoyed very good and nice sheep BBQ dinner at a Xinjiang restaurant in old town.Guest review byguy1966Belgium - 10.0
Chengdu is very easy to get around.
Chengdu is very easy to get around. The Pandas are a must see. After terrible pollution in Chongqing, the fresh air of Chengdu was lovely. Will definitely come back. Just a note, the main airport is quite far from the city centre. Give yourself enough time to get there. mid afternoon took about an hour from the centre of the city.Guest review byNatalieQatar - 2.0

I guess climbing Emeishan is all about how lucky you are that day with the weather. We had no luck as it was cloudy and raining so we had no view at all from the mountain. Avoid it during Chinese holidays as there is too many people (we had no choice). Check the weather before you decide to climb so you dont waste your time up thereGuest review byAndreja MiletićSerbia - 10.0
I visited the Shun Feng Ya Yun Teahouse, the Du Fu Cottage,...
I visited the Shun Feng Ya Yun Teahouse, the Du Fu Cottage, the Wuhou Shrine, The Wangjianglou Park, and the Chengdu Museum. I had an absolute blast at the opera considering I managed to snag front row tickets to the show. Face changing is such a Sichuan treat, highly recommend the experience. I booked an opera makeup photoshoot and it's pretty fun to try on the performers' outfits. Du Fu Cottage and Wuhou Memorial make for very lovely walks this time of year, and both sites are rich in historical importance. Wangjianglou Park had a small area dedicated to the poet Xue Tao that I enjoyed, and a small museum where you could see some artifacts from Tang Dynasty and/or specific to paper making. The Chengdu Museum had a temporary museum on Sherlock Holmes that I unfortunately didn't get to 100% complete since there was an interactive game that took about an hour- but renting a Holmes outfit was very fun. I loved the paper puppets and the other opera puppets on display, you could really appreciate the artistry put into the craft. Great stay, would come back to Chengdu again.Guest review byAmy
