It is a great old town with plenty of things to see, especially if you are into historical sightseeing and lovely nature/surroundings. Just make sure that you come at the right time. Due to our trip to the Czech Republic in January, we did stop in Znojmo, but were a little bit surprised that most of the sights have April-October opening time.Guest review byIvanSlovenia - 4.0

the wooden furnished rooms were quirky. the location was excellent and quiet, great for walking and cling trails. The town is really small and doesn't offer much beside hiking (within the Nationalpark Thayatal). There is also a swimming pool but it's quite far from the main attractions (the castle and the Thaya Bridge). There are not many restaurants, only one shop (combined with bakery) and most places only accept cash. Extremely lovely and beautiful place! Wow! Great location, close to Znojmo town, on the quiet street, beautiful garden surrounded by old trees and bushes. Alot of privacy. Shopping near by. The house is gorgeous, very nicely decorated, several cosy corners, balconies and terasses to relax at. And the views from the balcony is breathtaking, er enjoyed looking at the fields, horisonts, sundet and view over the neighbourhood. Fantastic!! Very well equipped, there is absolutely everything you need for your stay, Kitchen appliances, tv, radio, fireplace, comfortable sofas, eating area, wifi. The room was very lovely, good beds, nice bathroom and balcony. There is also a kettle and little fridge in the room as well. The communikation with the host, check in and check out was without any problems! The town was just the right size for a three day visit.
The town was just the right size for a three day visit. We had our dog with us so no museums or galleries were on our list but we were welcome everywhere else. We came to hotel Morava whit out problems in center of small square and everything was very nicely set up , room was excellent, very spacious, quiet and all in excellent condition - building is very old - historically but rooms and service up to date, restaurant where was breakfast buffet had everything what we wanted and needed , choice and all very nicely served WE visited also chateau, caves, surroundings and maybe we needed more days to see all We also took small trip to not far situated Mikulov, Lednice and Valtice - huge vinery and historical sites - I was there few times already - always happy to come back and get taste of happinessGuest review byYana KorycanskaCanada
