One night stay with dinner booked on site. Good location easy walking distance to main street. The room was clean and the bed was comfy, if it was any warmer, we might have needed a fan, but this was due to the exceptionally nice weather we are having.

This was by far our favorite stay in our trip to England. The hotel is beautiful, well decorated, cozy. The photos reflect everything perfectly. We loved our room, shower and bed were great, everything very clean. The room was spacious and was made as requested. The location was a great base for multiple short day trips. The food on the restaurant (breakfast and dinner) were delicious. The bar was cozy and had different sitting areas. Staff was so nice and welcoming. The pantry is a really nice touch. Seriously, I'm so glad I found this hotel, everything was perfect.

I really enjoyed going to the Lido as the weather was so hot...

I really enjoyed going to the Lido as the weather was so hot whilst we were there! I also enjoyed the very interesting museum and art gallery, which focused on local history with many interesting exhibits e.g. a sedan chair...there was also a very interesting exhibition called "Into the Wild". And a video/exhibition about a female Morris Dancing Troupe. There are many nice cafes and restuarants to get coffees, refreshments and evening meals. We also visited several charity shops and found some good bargains. We didn't catch a single bus whilst we were there - in fact there didn't seem to be many of them and we never found a bus station. As neither of us drive or have a car, this was a bit of a drawback. We had to walk a lot and some of the taxi's we caught e.g. to the train station seemed rather expensive. On my last day in Cheltenham I walked to the famous Pump Rooms, through Pittville Park. This was definitely worth the effort (on another hot day). There's a lovely long lake in the Park where I saw a heron amongst other wildlife. It was nice to get somewhere well away from the incessant traffic and probable air pollution...

We luckily arrived during a perfect summer’s day Lots of people enjoying and playing in the river which was nice to see So many places to find food and drink The only disappointment that I had was the lack of individual boutique type shops, there were some but just not as many nor the choice that I had expected.

Stow on the Wold has interesting history at every turn (don’t miss Nth door at St Edward’s Church for example or the plaque beneath the cross on market square). Cost cafes with good coffee & great bakery treats. Stow is an easy drive to most villages and towns in the Cotswolds

Lovely town with some great shops.

Lovely town with some great shops. On street parking available free for 2 hrs. A lot of traffic in the main street. Being in the main built of Cotswold stone the town looks beautiful with many old buildings. It is built on a hill down to the Windrush so some level of fitness is required. The town is well worth exploring.

Michael's Medittereanean restaurant was by far our favourite of the trip. We loved the local cheese and prodcue shops, visited the chapel and walked around the village. It is easy to drive or walk around, even with many tourists we managed to find parking in the centre. We visited the Moreton-in-Marsh Falconry Centre, Daylesford and Broadway during our stay and loved the experience.
