The location of the hotel is perfect, you can see the entrance to the courtyard from the ferry pier. We were able to check in early. The staff were incredible. We came to Patmos to visit the Cave of the Apocalypse and the Monastery of St. John. The staff's advice about how and when to go proved invaluable and improved our experience immensely. They also suggested wonderful restaurants and other activities. The breakfast was wonderful.

    This was by far the best stay in our island hopping trip. outstanding view from the room. cleanliness is beyond imagination not a single spot in whole pf the place! breakfast is pleasant , reception very kind. I would recommend this place very highly!

    The room had fresh sheets and towels every morning. The local is absolutely ideal. For the money you can't beat this hotel. I am fully satisfied, highly recommended for those traveling on a budget.

    Skala is delightful, but Patmos overall is incredible. We visited the beautiful village of Chora, the monastery of St John, the windmills, and the spiritual cave of the Apocolypse, where John wrote the book of Revelation in the Bible. All was achieved in one day by taxi from Skala. The entire trip was from the island of Kos by ferry, with a 2 night stay in Skala. Well worth it. Wonderful !! Two beautiful islands in one holiday !!

    There is a good selection of nice tavernas in Skala Town; there is one fine hotel close to the sea and the Bay which (unfortunately) was fully booked while I was there - unlike my chosen hotel which had about a 3% occupancy!!

    Grikos is stunning, however, very quite. 3 hotels, 2 already shut (6/9/20) other shutting today. Only 4 restaurants, tried them all. Very good. No shop at all, all supplies needed you had to get from skala, 5 kms away, but stunning

    Visit to monastery amazing. Beach at Kampos very relaxing. Shopping expensive. Plenty of restaurants with lots of choices. Grigos has a lovely restaurant on the shore. Easy to hire a car and can also access most places by bus.

    Lovely island. Great central location if in Skala. Recommend e-bikes to get around on quiet roads on September. Chora lovely - Loza is one of the best restaurants we have ever experienced in Greece - amazing tastes, and views . Petra Beach is fantastic! Lovely beach vibe with lingers and cocktail bar.

    There are many paths that appear to be footpaths but are actually roads. Once you are aware of this, it makes it easier to travel with a scooter, which I recommend. these paths are also great to get around by foot and it is a nice walkable area.

    Beautiful nature.

    Beautiful nature. Not too busy. did a amazing day’of sailing with an old sailboat, corinne is highly recommended. hora is a unique medieval city. A bit weird and amazing at the same time. Hlia house was a super rental on campos beach. Food is rather average. Aside from 1 resto in the old town. The car rental autounion is a rip off. Patmos is difficult to get to. From Athens it took us 9 hours, a flight, a ferry, a car and 2 taxis.
