Obviously a very touristy town, most of the town appears to be made up of hotels and BnBs. However because of it it also has a wide range of restaurants and cafes featuring a wide range of cuisines. Being there on a Saturday night it also appeared to have a thriving nightlife. Being there in Summer meant that Murphys Icecream was still open at 11PM. I ate at Mizus - a wonderful Japanese restaurant with tremendous work gone into the decor and food that matched. Breakfast at Zone was very busy on a wet morning and full of families - always a good sign for me, food and coffee was lovely. I stayed in middle of town and walked out to the INEC for a gig - about 25 mins on a nice evening but also seemed to be plenty of taxis flying around. Traffic was very busy come 12 o clock on Sunday morning but it didnt take me too long to get away around the outside of the townGuest review byBrianIreland - Review score

The scenic Slea Head Drive which is part of The Wild Atlantic Way was really enjoyable. Lots of interesting stops along the away. The Dingle Hotel serves good food at reasonable prices. Lots of interesting shops. Lovely beaches within driving distance. Inch Beach in particular. You can park on the beach.Guest review byAnonymous - Review score

Bedroom: charmless, very cramped, no chair, no table, toy-size TV a few centimetres from ceiling. Teabags out their box that could have been exposed to dust and touched by many people. Bathroom : no towel rail.Guest review byJimUnited Kingdom - Review score

Wonderful location at the cross roads of so many must visit places. The town itself is vibrant and charming and very well serviced with pubs and restaurants. What could be better after a busy day exploring then sitting outside Foleys catching the evening sun and enjoying a pint while deciding what and where to eat.Guest review byPaulIreland - Review score
The venue was lovely, and quiet.
The venue was lovely, and quiet. Perfect for a long awaited rest. The facilities were well maintained and clean. The proprietor was very nice, and attentive to our requirements. The location was perfect for our requirements, to observe the night sky. No light pollution. We had a really nice experience. Thanks to all involved. 👍👍👍Guest review byRoxanne - Review score

Waterville is a quiet coastal town with good beachfront walks, nice restaurants and spectacular views. We ate in the Butlers arms hotel pub and had deliciously cooked fish and chips. Took a lovely seafront walk and stopped for a drink in the popular Lobster bar and restaurant where the food looked and smelled delicious, noted for next time. Waterville was ideal for a one night stay to get away from it all or as a quiet stop when touring the ring of Kerry.Guest review byAnonymousIreland - Review score

The bedrooms were excellent. Spacy and spotless.
The bedrooms were excellent. Spacy and spotless. However at about 6.30am there was a lot of noise from the users of the adjoining room's shower. We also heard the occupant/s the evening before. The noise of the water was entirely due the the bad insulation of the walls. I think it will be a major problem in the future.Guest review byhenrybarnett65France - Review score

It's just 20 mins away from Kilarney National Park - which we visited last (just the Waterfall) Perfect if you plan on visiting Ring of Kerry and wish to take a lap around it - we have managed to see all the highlights (northern-side, i.e. Cahersiveen, Valentia, ending on the Cliffs of Kerry, then driving through the south absolutely gobsmacked with the views) If you want to visit Ring Of Kerry we recommend 2 days there as we wish we spent more and explore South side - definitely visit Valentia and Cahersiveen (coffee at Lazy Cat with view at the cathedral and shopping in the near gift shop) The views or Ring of Kerry are spectacular - Canary Islands, Canada, Zakopane, Peru (one word: Ireland), all mixed up! BIG LOVE!Guest review byKonradUnited Kingdom
