The quality of the room exceeded all my expectations. All of the staff were local and friendly. The evening food menu was very good. The eggs and bacon for breakfast were the best.

Good sized room, which was clean and comfortable apart from it being rather warm. Facilities downstairs were good with polite and attentive staff. Secure parking to the rear. Nice powerful shower, too. Town Centre is a bit limited for places to eat, but we did find an Indian Restaurant within a 10 min walk on the edge of town that was pretty good.

Monaghan is great - a relatively undiscovered part of Ireland and as such a hidden gem, with a broad range of walking/hiking options and quite some historically important sites, also with castles, gardens, parks and lakes. County Monaghan has got it all.

A town not too far from Dublin airport and within easy distance to Co Tyrone ,Northern Ireland. The locals very very friendly and the local pubs were traditional , well at least the ones I went into. YES the Guinness does taste different to the British variety .Ireland in common with most places these days is not a cheap place ,indeed the price of property is on par with England as opposed to a few years when it was dirt cheap. Roads generally in good repair , the main ones , the side roads can be problematic.

There is very little in Clones but we were there to visit friends. You can eat in the Creighton Hotel in Clones but it wasn't great. We found a lovely pub restaurant in Belturbet called the Seven Horseshoes. If you want to trace your Irish ancestry the library in Clones has an excellent genealogy section and staff to help

The staff were exceptionally helpful, with advice (local taxi's who were very reliable & fair priced) Wilst preparing for an event a 'sticky' garment cleaner was required; again reception were able to help. I cannot fault the staff for their help & advice. A real credit to the hotel.

No tea or coffee in the room ! For this money I can get much better place! Online pictures are lie ! It's a old house and not comfortable..I mean ugly inside... On the breakfast was a problem to get tea and coffee ... Breakfast was not that good ! JUST BAD EXPERIENCE!
