The property was beautiful and close to the seaside. The restaurant next door is wonderful, we went in for an anniversary dinner and were not disappointed. The hotel staff were incredible and made sure we had everything we needed to have a 5 star stay.

We had my sister's 50th birthday with family and friends, we had 20 people, we booked the whole house. The facilities are just fabulous with bar, pool room, dining hall. We had ages 17 to 80 and all loved it, rooms are spacious and spotless. We brought our own drinks and food, There were little things like musty odors, but disapated once we ventaled the rooms, it was early in the season so probably not used much over winter months. Overall fabulous and would recommend

Doolin is a friendly little area perfectly located to see the Cliffs of Moher. We carried out some excellent food from Gus O'Connor's Pub, but wish we had time to stay and enjoy the band that was going to be playing later in the evening.

    We really enjoyed Lahinch.

We really enjoyed Lahinch. It is a great little town with plenty of places to eat and drink. We had an excellent meal in Vaughans on the pier and found our way to Hugos bakery every morning. It has a great beach and is an excellent gateway to the Burren. The boat ride from Doolin under the Cliffs of Moher was superb and a coffee in the Moher Cottage cafe on the ay back to Lahinch rounded it off really well.

A lovely Medieval town with narrow streets. A historic and restore Franciscan abbey which has been restored in part with daily tours. Nice variety of restaurants and coffee establishments. Lively pubs with a great music vibe for many tastes. The Fleadh Nua happened to be on when I was visiting the town!!

To be in Lisdoonvarna during the matchmaking festival is a bit special. Whilst we were at the beginning of the festival and it was relatively quiet, the music and dancing were great to watch. Lots of people having a great time. The style of dancing so typically Irish (not Irish dancing ala River Dance) and the music a mix of traditional Irish folk and Irish country and western. It was great fun watching and we had a brilliant time. Go if you can! In the words of Brendan Shine - Catch me if you can, me name is Dan and I’m your man!

Ballyvaughan is a quiet little village hugging the shores of The Atlantic Ocean. There is a wide selection of accommodation suppliers to choose from. The location is very pretty, a great place if you want to take in an evening stroll by the seashore. There are a small number of shops in the area, such as local craft shops & cafes. I believe there is a craftmarket offering homemade & homegrown items direct. It is very easy to walk around and experience the beautiful surroundings.

Liscannor is a beautiful city with many great views. The coast is incredible and the people are so friendly. The Cliffs of Moher are another amazing plus. Saint Brigids’s well os nearby and was an interesting stop as well. We ate lunch at the Frantic Chef and dinner in Doolin nearby at Gus O’Conners- both of which we’re delicious!

while renovated in a stylish modern fashion, the apartment was cold. the gas fireplace was not operational. there were no reading lights. and the thick walled building, previously a hay barn, was damp… not good for anyone with arthritis. Kinvarra and the Burren were extraordinary, a visit of a lifetime.. fascinating archaeologically, ecologically and historically.. The castle was closed for its second year. the other issue was the Trident Homes management… the price changed, their website seemed in conflict with Booking.com, and there were multiple threatening messages about up to 500 euros in deposit for damages! Hardly welcoming!

Doolin is a small town with four pubs and great music. Food at the pubs is above average and the town is an easy ride to the Cliffs of Moher as well as to the ferry to the Aran Islands. Easy town to walk. If staying in Doolin you only need the car for getting to the ferry. Long walk otherwise.
