The hotel was newly built within the structure of an old factory, preserving the industrial character in its design, something we really appreciated. Everything felt fresh, modern, and very clean. It was also conveniently located within walking distance of the bus station, where a bus to Venice departed every 15 minutes. We dined twice at the hotel’s restaurant and were impressed by the high quality of the food. Regional specialties were also served, which I personally enjoyed. Our room was spacious, featuring a comfortable armchair and a desk, adding to the overall convenience and comfort.

FAQs about hotels in Veneto

Inspiration for Artist and Architect

The Veneto offers relaxation and recreation in world-famous cities and wonderful landscapes. Words don’t do justice to its ever-serene capital Venice, a captivating maze of canals and monuments. Cheap hotels in Venice are scarce, but Mestre across the lagoon offers more budget options.

Cheap flights to Venice land in Treviso, a little version of that fabled city. Also centred on canals is beautiful Chioggia, home to several Veneto hotels on the beach. Yet more are in Caorle, near its distinctive 11th-century bell tower and waterfront church. Another family-friendly Veneto resort with a long beach is Lido di Jesolo.

In studenty Padua, Giotto’s 14th-century frescoes in the Scrovegni Chapel are bursting with colour. The majestic Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza was designed by Palladio, the prolific architect whose villas and churches cover the Veneto. Romantic Verona inspired Romeo and Juliet and has an incredibly well-preserved Roman arena hosting summer opera.

Nearby Lake Garda offers many luxury hotels in the Veneto on Booking.com. By its eastern shore is the popular Gardaland theme park, the elegant Garda promenade, and the wineries of Bardolino.

Grappa was invented in riverfront Bassano del Grappa, and nearby Asolo is one of the region’s most beautiful hill towns. Belluno is overlooked by the Dolomites, while Abano Terme is a spa town by the Colli Euganei, whose undulating hills house vineyards.

Two days are required. Well organised visting to Doge's Palace. St. Mark church visit top expensive, due to cascade's paymant. Horrible rip off. However the old town is absoluty unusual. Water tram works very well, but the price for non-citizens is discriminatory.

This beautiful city exudes charm and vitality, offering a rich content that will satisfy all tastes. The people are extremely kind and hospitable, making visitors feel welcome. In the city you can find a variety of restaurants, cafes and shops, as well as cultural events, museums and picturesque market streets that exude authenticity. Long, beautiful sandy beaches stretch for kilometers, providing perfect conditions for sunbathing, swimming, water sports or simply relaxing with the sounds of the sea. In addition, the surroundings are full of tall palm trees and tourist attractions that are sure to impress visitors. This is a place where nature, culture and good energy meet, making it an ideal place for vacation or exploration.

We were advised to stay in Mestre, rather than Venice, to save some money, but that was a mistake. Mestre is a tourist junction town, so the restaurants that we went to were overpriced and of poor quality. There was live music, but it was not a good scene, and too loud. The M9 museum was great, and it was almost empty when we were there. Next time we will stay in Venice proper.

My wife and I spent 5 nights in Padua. We visited neighbouring towns of Vincenza and Verona. A lot of history to explore. Make sure you have good walking shoes, the cobblestone roads can be hard on the feet. Plenty of shopping and excellent dining establishments. The City TRAM was really good, better than the over priced Taxi service. People of Padua were very friendly.

Friendly atmosphere, vivid nightlife, although less posh than the nearby Jesolo. Many restaurants and take-away buffets. Various shops to look around. Several outdoor facilities if you don't want to lay on the beach all the time. No programs however in case the weather is not good (raining). The sandy beach is excellent, stretches widely along Bibione. If you book a room in Bibione you will get 2 sunbeds and an umbrella for free, vs many other places in Italy where you have to pay 10-15 EUR / person on an average private beach. If you stay a week or so, it is well worth to drive to Punta Sabbioni and take boat ride to Venezia.

Towns keeps the vibe of Garda lake very well, a lot of restaurants and lovely architecture. It is easy to get around and as all places has easy ferry connection to other locations. Big plus for proximity of gardaland and viva safari park - I highly recommend this one, best value for the money so far but book at least half a day and bring good shoes as it is quite a hike.

The most spectacular hikes are nearby. It’s difficult to get around without a rental car and very expensive to hire taxis. The bus service wasn’t great bc it was low season. There is a ton of construction going on for the Olympics. La Perla and el rotunda were great local restaurants in the town center. The hike to Lago sorprisi was spectacular!

My second time visiting Malcesine, the best place to be if you're wanting a town with a buzz and plenty of activities. I've been twice solo but having been the second time round I would definitely recommend travelling with another person/group here, I felt that groups tended to stick to themselves.
