We came for check in in the evening. The receptionist said she has no access to the system to check our booking because only her colleague in the morning has access to the email of booking. Com. After wasting some time to solve this she asked me to show her the booking in my email which k did. The she let us check in saying that BREAKFAST IS INCLUDED. How did she know, I don't know!! We checked in and we ordered a meal from the menu at 7:15 pm. 2 hours passed without bringing the dinner to the room. We called reception (probably the same girl who did the check in) replied saying the food is coming up now. 15 minutes elapsed without anything coming up. We called again, a man replied saying he will check and get back to us which he didn't!!! After another 30 minutes, the food came being cold and awful. When we checked out in the morning, a male receptionist asked us to pay for the breakfast!!! He was rude. No one took any initiative to please us or to apologise or any efforts to compensate us for all the bad experience during the night and in the morning. Literally, THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.

My stay at Orana was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we landed, the experience was seamless the close proximity to Eldoret Airport is a blessing. No traffic, just clean mountain air as you glide towards the palatial property. Even the entrance brings a smile to your face it's a grand welcome to what is truly a beautiful home. The term luxurious is often thrown around lightly when describing properties, but Orana is the real deal. This house redefines luxury. It’s a five-star oasis in Eldoret. All the bedrooms are ensuite, with bathrooms that are spacious and elegant. The bedrooms themselves are fit for royalty, complete with ample wardrobe space and tasteful décor that strikes the perfect balance between comfort and sophistication. The kitchen is immaculate large enough for three people to cook comfortably at once and fully equipped for group meals and laughter. But the absolute highlight of our stay was the garden and gazebo. We played music around the firepit, the kids ran freely on the lush grass, and we sipped the finest Japanese gin under the stars. Pure magic. What truly sets Orana apart, though, isn't just the grandeur of the property it's the incredible support staff who made our stay feel effortless. A huge thank you to David, who coordinated our arrival at Eldoret Airport and ensured that everything we needed was handled with care and efficiency. Nothing was too much for him. To Yvonne, who cooked the most delicious meals for our group over three days with grace and professionalism it was like watching a maestro at work. And to Esther, who kept the house spotless throughout our stay thank you for your quiet dedication. It was a truly wonderful experience. I’m already looking forward to being back in November.
