A nice little 2 night stay in Wilpattu. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, easily accessible via WhatsApp. We were given a room upgrade which was very much appreciated while travelling with a 2 year old. Our morning safari was organised by our host and our driver/guide was great. We were able to spot a leopard at such a close distance with no other jeeps in sight. We had our heart set on seeing elephants, but this isn't the ideal national park for elephant sightings (something to keep in mind). A tasty lunchbox was packed for us, along with bottled water so we were set until we returned (roughly 11am). We paid for dinner at the property, which is very convenient, however if you have your own transport, there are some lunch/dinner options in close driving distance. Thank you for having us 😊

Nice house, in calm street. Room was clean and comfortable. We loved that we were able to use the bikes to cycle around Anuradhapura. The 2 guys operating the front desk were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

A great place for anyone who wants to relax, recharge, and enjoy some peace and quiet in nature. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and do everything to make you feel comfortable and at home. The local people are always smiling and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food is delicious — homemade, traditional, and cooked with love, just for you. The rooms are new, with a big, comfy bed, and there's hot water in the shower. In the mornings and evenings, it’s amazing to sit on the terrace, listen to the birds, and watch the monkeys. If you’re planning a trip to Wilpattu, make sure to stay at this resort! P.S. I’d say this is the best resort in the area.

    Anuradhapura is an ancient kingdom in Sri Lanka. There are so many places to visit in there. Sri mahabodiya ,Ruwanweliseya and so many buddhist temples are there.Also large tanks like Thisa wewa,Nuwara wewa also there.Very attarctive place to visit. It will be a great feeling to be visit Anuradhapura.

    Good location to visit the National parks where Elephants...

    Good location to visit the National parks where Elephants roam. Take a short drive to Ritigala and be amazed at the heritage site of a millenia old large forest monastery. Dine at the Ran Rasa restaurant for one of the best Chicken Koththus you will taste..

    Anuradhapura is an ancient city which evolved into a very popular place with pilgrims and tourists. Because of the modernization of the city, more and more people visit there to experience the century old civilization. In my view anybody can learn a lot about Buddhist culture, agriculture and simple but happy lives of those people who live there for a long time. Good Luck!

    Beautiful jungle surrounds. Lots of activities. Safari doesn't tell you about all the extra costs involved. Entry fee big. Tip for animal spotter. The Harabana lake cruise is brilliant. No motor just a gentle paddle, allowing you get up close to wildlife
