Perfect hotel, near the train station of Marrakech. Rooms are excellent and staff is very helpful. By feet the Medina is about 40 minutes away, by cab it takes you 15 minutes. If you would like to have a bit more luxury and want to avoid the crowds of the Medina, I can really recommend this place!

We loved every thing about the hotel! It ranks right up there with one of the best, we have stayed in, around the world. It’s an oasis of calm and tranquility. The hotel is beautiful and set in beautiful grounds, but it’s the staff that really sets the bar! Every member of staff goes out of their way to be helpful and considerate. Awesome training! But, a special mention must go to Lamia, the concierge. She helped to make a birthday trip even more special! Just can’t thank her enough for everything she did for us. (And, we loved our upgrade. The villa was stunning)! Finally, as a Coeliac and therefore strictly gluten free, this hotel was amazing! I was made gluten free bread at every meal and at breakfast, I was served a plate of gluten free pastries. Lunch at the pool restaurant, every afternoon was excellent! (A special mention to our waiter, who really looked after us well). But, the highlight, was our meal in the hotel’s Moroccan restaurant on our first night. We pre-ordered the Chef’s special Roast Lamb. It was incredible. But, the ‘icing on the cake’ was the gluten free birthday cake, made by the chef for my husband. We both said it was one of the best desserts, either of us had had. Gluten free or otherwise! Definitely the best meal of the trip, by far.

The staff at the Jenny Lynn were exceptional and went above and beyond for both myself and my mum during our stay. They gave us advise on the best places to go, helped us book taxis, navigate the buses and were so friendly and helpful. The room was huge and the facilities at the hotel were top notch and spotlessly clean. The hotel itself is an oasis, so peaceful and calm compared to Marrakesh which is only 20 minutes away. All of the food was amazing and cooked from scratch with fresh ingredients. We could not have come to a better hotel in Morocco and we will certainly be coming back in the future.

    Lovely beach, the fishing port and the adjacent restaurants displaying their catches ready for cooking is a sight to behold. The Medina, which is captivating, day or night, was surprisingly hassle-free with tourists largely unpressured by street vendors and beggars. But the overarching view is one of calm in the city, much more laid back than, say, Agadir.

    Very nice city and friendly people. Personally I prefer the quiet places. Unlikely Marrakesh, Safi is very quiet and nice city to discover and learn about in a week, you will be able to make friends easily and recognise the locals quicker. Also the beach and the areas around it is very close and the prices are very affordable.

    Ourika is breath taking.

    Ourika is breath taking. The restaurants with the river flowing is amazing. The kids loved splashing in the river. The waterfall is well worth exploring. The local residents are very welcoming and friendly. I definitely want to visit Ourika again!

    It is small village now dedicated to tourism, there are nice roads leading to the Atlas and if you are interested in general tourism is close to Marrakech where you can ride a camel, and do other activities in the dessert.

    Marrakech is amazing, there's so much to see, do, and learn!

    Marrakech is amazing, there's so much to see, do, and learn! The city is full of history, and the people are generally very friendly. Everywhere you go, it feels like the past is alive around you. A few things I wish I knew before coming: tipping is expected for almost everything. Even if someone offers help (like showing you the way), they’ll expect a tip. Kindness here can come with a cost, so be prepared and you’ll enjoy your time more. Also, paying by card is not reliable. It’s much better to carry cash, either in the local currency or euros, and try to have small notes or 1–2 euro coins to avoid issues. Wear light, comfortable clothes and good walking shoes. It makes a big difference when exploring the city! Enjoy your trip, it’s truly a unique and unforgettable place!

    Essaouira was my favorite city of those I visited on my trip to Morocco. The medina is easy to navigate and a fun place to shop, the climate is cooler than inland, the beach and harbour are pretty and interesting, the people are friendly, and it's a photographer's dream.
