Upsides: Good food, vibrant arts + culture scene, very friendly people, exotic Downsides: Terrible and lawless traffic, air pollution, widespread poverty. I only feel safe walking in a small part of the city felt like i will get mugged any second.Guest review byBerkayTurkey - Review score

The City was vibrant with sellers on the streets and in the markets. I liked seeing all the beautiful, artistic murals on the walls of public buildings and spaces - outstanding graphic designs! Friendly people, ready to help you with getting around, especially if your Spanish is not fluent. The restaurant at Flamencos Hotel was a good eating spot with delicious food at reasonable prices. Meals in the nearby market - Mexico Centro, were also tasty and inexpensive. One of the easiest ways to get around is by Uber - safe, convenient and costs less than taxi. A place to visit, for an entire day's trip, is Chapultepec Park also known as Bosque de Chapultepec. It is said to be one of the world's largest city parks and it is closely linked to several key events in Mexican history. You can enjoy a boat ride while you are there. For Starbucks lovers, there is one located at the park. Another must see is San Juan Teotihuacan. This place boasts the largest pyramid in the world. Go for a climb if you are physically fit and brave. There are several great restaurants to choose from and for souvenirs and gifts, you can get these from any of the many vendors at the location. Please negotiate the price to get value for money. The Casa Azul or Museum of Frida Kahlo, is another spot worth visiting if you are interested in art. The house was the home of the late artist Frida Kahlo and it celebrates her life work and history. Mexico City was worth the 4-day visit and I will do it again for a longer stay, because there is so much to explore. I highly recommend the City as a great tourist destination.Guest review byDawnCanada
