From the moment my husband and I arrived at Noah's, we felt instantly relaxed and welcomed by the beautiful owner Leonie. We felt like we had arrived at at a family members home so warmly welcomed. Leonie asked questions to establish that we had everything we might need, and also advised where to eat and what was delicious from the menu. We would eat at Fleur's, however, though we were disappointed as Fleur's is closed , we absolutely loved our evening and meal at the Moreaki Tavern. It was literally a stones throw away also. We woke to birds on the outside table and in the tree in our wonderful sea view room. We strongly advise anybody and everybody to stay with this wonderful lady in her wee part of Paradise. Thank you again Leonie, Tony and I look forward to staying with you again xx

Far beyond expectations—the staff's sincere and friendly service, the resort being a farm where you can see alpacas in the morning and stargaze at night. Highly recommended!

The omelete was the best I had, light and fluffy and the location is perfect. The staff were excellent, helpful and professional. Whether they cleaned, were on reception or in the dinning area. Well done.

Steve and Michelle are fantastic hosts who made us feel welcome and at home straight away. Just what we needed after a long day cycling. The location is perfect with the Alps 2 Ocean trail running right past the door, and the cottage is set within an idyllic country garden with everything you might need. Michelle fed us like queens at both dinner and breakfast, even catering for my dairy free needs. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Gorgeous settlement - by the ocean.

Gorgeous settlement - by the ocean. Stunning historical buildings, vibrant shops filled with goodies, Sunday market brimming with organic produce - vegetables, honey, cheese, soaps, lotions, coffee and yummy treats. No junk - wonderful homemade produce at exceptionally good prices, for example - two cheese rolls and a cup of soup for $9.

We lived in Omarama approximately 30 years ago. It was lovely to see the progress in the town. There is plenty of places to eat out and all of them offer a good range of food, with friendly efficient staff.

I didn’t see much of Otematata as I arrived late afternoon, had a meal and then retired to my room. The next day we drove on to Geraldine early morning. The countryside is interesting, the views superb, I love the McKenzie country and I’ll return for longer next time. I ate at the Best little pub and had a very good meal

I liked exploring the river and would have fished if we had stayed. Food at the local pub was good, we didn't try the steaks. There are lots of families who go to Kurow camping for the water activities in the lakes. There is a newish wetland to explore, and others like to cycle the area. The penguins are 90 kilometers away there are a fossil attraction down the road.

It's a very special place to have crayfish and fresh fish at the Fish Wife. It's the only reason we travel and stay at Moeraki. Absolutely loving it. The Moeraki Tavern is also another fantastic place to eat. I highly recommend both.

Hampden pub was nice to eat and relax for the whole family. They have games for kids to play, pingpong, table tennis and fus ball. Will go back some day.

The beach ( Campbells Bay) was just stunning for walking and a quick dip. Very sheltered. Loved chatting to the locals at the market, the dairy and the owners of Kakanui Tomatoes. All so incredibly friendly . We took our bikes which was great for looking around because the town is quite spread out . We are coming back

Often overlooked as a passing point to more exotic destination, this little stop over town has a few worthy attractions; the Clay Cliffs, the Ahuriri River, the Hot tub and the Glider rides etc. It is also near Twizel and Lake Ohau too.

The apartment was very clean and had everything that we needed. The pub was brilliant and had exceptional food and a great atmosphere. Previous negative reviews of the apartments were completely unfounded. Sofa bed was lumpy with springs sticking out and needs replacing, otherwise no complaints. Would stay there again.
