Gorgeous settlement - by the ocean.
Gorgeous settlement - by the ocean. Stunning historical buildings, vibrant shops filled with goodies, Sunday market brimming with organic produce - vegetables, honey, cheese, soaps, lotions, coffee and yummy treats. No junk - wonderful homemade produce at exceptionally good prices, for example - two cheese rolls and a cup of soup for $9.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

We lived in Omarama approximately 30 years ago. It was lovely to see the progress in the town. There is plenty of places to eat out and all of them offer a good range of food, with friendly efficient staff.Guest review byHeatherNew Zealand - 8.0

I didn’t see much of Otematata as I arrived late afternoon, had a meal and then retired to my room. The next day we drove on to Geraldine early morning. The countryside is interesting, the views superb, I love the McKenzie country and I’ll return for longer next time. I ate at the Best little pub and had a very good mealGuest review byMareeNew Zealand - 10.0

I liked exploring the river and would have fished if we had stayed. Food at the local pub was good, we didn't try the steaks. There are lots of families who go to Kurow camping for the water activities in the lakes. There is a newish wetland to explore, and others like to cycle the area. The penguins are 90 kilometers away there are a fossil attraction down the road.Guest review byJoyAustralia - 10.0

It's a very special place to have crayfish and fresh fish at the Fish Wife. It's the only reason we travel and stay at Moeraki. Absolutely loving it. The Moeraki Tavern is also another fantastic place to eat. I highly recommend both.Guest review bySofia DalyNew Zealand - 10.0
How tidy people's property's. Super friendly people.
How tidy people's property's. Super friendly people. Good food. Lovely works to the beach. Four square store well stocked, and easy to get around. Hampden pub was nice to eat and relax for the whole family. They have games for kids to play, pingpong, table tennis and fus ball. Will go back some day.Guest review byRickerbyNew Zealand - 10.0

The beach ( Campbells Bay) was just stunning for walking and a quick dip. Very sheltered. Loved chatting to the locals at the market, the dairy and the owners of Kakanui Tomatoes. All so incredibly friendly . We took our bikes which was great for looking around because the town is quite spread out . We are coming backGuest review bytraceynelson99@gmail.comNew Zealand - 10.0

Often overlooked as a passing point to more exotic destination, this little stop over town has a few worthy attractions; the Clay Cliffs, the Ahuriri River, the Hot tub and the Glider rides etc. It is also near Twizel and Lake Ohau too.Guest review byJeremyAustralia - 8.0

The apartment was very clean and had everything that we needed. The pub was brilliant and had exceptional food and a great atmosphere. Previous negative reviews of the apartments were completely unfounded. Sofa bed was lumpy with springs sticking out and needs replacing, otherwise no complaints. Would stay there again.Guest review byDianaNew Zealand
