This hotel was an amazing find on booking.com. It was so much better in real life than we imagined, and at a great price. We loved it so much that we extended our 3 night stay to 6 nights, as there is heaps to do in Tainan. The room is massive compared to all of the other hotels we stayed in, and the hotel has extra features such as free laundry facilities and free soda water. The room is looking a little dated here and there but still great. The staff are very attentive and speak great English behind the desk. The breakfast choices are the most comprehensive I’ve ever seen on my travels, you will not leave hungry!

Hotel was a big surprise fro me. In lobby for 24 hours there are coffee and tea service, cola,and soft drinks are for free of charge. Room was really nice and pretty big. AC was operating well. Also self laundry service is available all time for free.

    Go and see the old city at Anping - lots of interesting history, including Fort Zeelandia. Tainan is the oldest city in Taiwan so it is worth exploring. It would have been fun to hire a bicycle but we only had an evening. Next time!

    I would not recommend visiting on a Monday as most of the shops, cafes and bars were shut during the day time and also in the evening it was quite difficult to find somewhere to eat. However it is an interesting city and if you can do a sunset cruise round the canals.

    We liked everything about Tainan.

    We liked everything about Tainan. The people in the street were so helpful and went out of their way to help whenever we asked for directions or had other questions. So many places to eat and the food is great.
