    Best things about Chicago - Art Institute and other museums - Restaurants - every meal in a local restaurant has been memorably good - the cinnamon rolls at Ann Sather's will change your life - Architecture! Take tours! So many excellent buildings. CTA trains are navigable but not necessarily oriented to tourist - checking for info about trainlines and such on internet makes CTA must easier.

    Clean quiet rooms. Nice pool. Great hot breakfast. Bed was a bit lumpy and pillows not much fluff but really good stay, especially for the money. You would be wise to chose this motel. I'm glad I did.

    Definitely a tourist destination with something for old n young alike. Traffic is heavy and getting on main drag can be a challenge but drivers very courteous letting you in once you make it to middle turn lane. Plenty of good restaurants beside standard fast food options. Budget limited number of shows we could attend.

    1. Having to walk into the shower to turn on the water and get sprayed with cold water, ridiculous. 2. No toilet seat cover? Gross 3. No microwave in room, guy at front desk had to come up to verify, I felt i needed to say he could check out bags. He told me he planned to file a theft report, for prior guests. Added stress i certainly shouldn't been privy to & told that. 4. Someone could have turned up the fridge temp, we figured that out midway through time there. 5. Sink was clogged since we arrived, but we had to leave room when your people family was leaving. (We were attending my brother's celebration of life.) We had 3 rooms total. All the above happened in our room 301.. we did get help when we asked for it like extra pillows the last night as I feel down at my brother house and needed help. Everyone was kind, but it was overwhelming. That sink should have been cleaning with free flowing water, the cleaning people should have known that. Appreciated that all 3 our rooms were given late check out but we all left earlier anyway. Suggestion: at food bar a simple sign their maybe dairy in something (like omeletes) and and nothing is gluten-free. Idea that might be helpful to others in these days of trying to live healthier. .

    This is completely false advertising!

    This is completely false advertising! I booked online with booking.com to stay after buckeye country superfest. We arrived early and asked just to see if our room was ready and it wasn’t (no biggie) but there was someone passed out in his car with the door open in the parking lot so we told the front desk and they did not care. We checked in after the concert into a NONSMOKING king bed room. There was burns on the comforter, stains on the bedsheets, headboard was all ripped. The bathroom sink had cut marks from cocaine. Dirt in all the drawers. And the bathroom was moldy and the door to the bathroom had dried stains that resembled blood. We paid over $150 when booking.com said it was a 3.7 star hotel and all the photos looked nice. We even told the front desk like hey our room was trashed when we checked in and they just said okay? DO NOT STAY HERE.

    St. Louis is good for a short visit, you are close to the Arch, Busch Stadium, and walking distance from the Amtrak station (1.2 miles to Busch stadium, about a 25 minute leisurely walk) and right on the other side of the Amtrak station is Union Station, with a lot to see and do there.

    There was nothing good about our 2 night stay.

    There was nothing good about our 2 night stay. The hallways were hot. The air only worked in our rooms. The sheets & towels were dirty. We requested to be moved from the first set of rooms that had a horrible unclean smell in the bathroom. The next set of rooms were worse. The guy at the front desk was not frienldly at all.I emailed the manager for this location on Monday to express my concerns & I haven't received a reply back. It seems like this location obviously has had complaints that they care not to address! I wouldn't suggest anyone to stay at this hotel.

    The Old market district is cute and diverse for shopping and dining. The Riverfront Park is Great and should be enjoyed. The rest of the town is a big Meh in my book. No rooftop bar scene no music/culture district to walk around. Good mix of old buildings, but there seems to be a lack of health and vibrancy is missing.

    We were there strictly for Summerfest - our very first time. Came across other neighborhoods that seemed walkable, funky, etc. It was just far too hot to enjoy. Otherwise - most staffers at the fest and other places were outstanding.
