FAQs about hotels in New Jersey
The Authentic American Experience
The American Garden State, New Jersey is famous for at least a few things: its central location between New York and Philadelphia, a great coastline with wide beaches and natural sites, and as the birthplace to some of the world’s most famous musicians: Frank Sinatra and Bruce Springsteen.
Natural parks with thriving wildlife and watersports opportunities along the Atlantic coast are more than enough to tempt any outdoor activities lover. Added to the mix are amusement parks, spectator sports venues and many historic sites. But New Jersey is more than just the sum of its parts.
The state where the light bulb, drive-in movie and zip originated from (not to mention cranberry sauce and ice cream cones!), New Jersey has a unique atmosphere, where the legends of the Jersey Devil and the stories of the mafia Five Families go hand in hand.
If you’re after a real American food experience, visit one of over 600 traditional diners, all serving typical grilled and breakfast-style dishes. And by the way, no other place in the world has more diners than New Jersey!
So if you like Jersey best, visit Booking.com before flying off to Newark or Trenton airports. From cheap hotels near New York to motels on the road to Atlantic City, Booking.com has over 500 New Jerseyan properties on offer.

I don't frequent Atlantic City, but it's amazing how over a decade between trips goes to show that almost nothing has changed. Trying to go for a quick walk on the boardwalk and you're immediately met with people asking for money or yelling inappropriate things at you for no apparent reason. Drove to a restaurant with good ratings to find it was in a very shady area only a few blocks from the resort (Literally saw someone steal a bike rim as we pulled up) we instantly agreed we didn't want to park in that area and left. When you have multiple resorts you'd think they would work harder to help the community out in the shadows of their casinos. We went to the indoor water park which was a nice change of pace from the seemingly dated casinos. Of all the shady activity we saw in the area immediately surrounding the casino, we never saw a single police officer while in AC yet the casino was filled to the brim with security. Great place for adults to enjoy the casino...probably wouldn't recommend going with a family.Guest review byCraigUnited States - 10.0
Area was downtown Newark and typical of such Urban areas.
Area was downtown Newark and typical of such Urban areas. The only nearby pharmacy was closed at 500 in the afternoon. The convenience store nearby quoted one price for my transaction, then charged $11 plus dollars extra. My fault for bot raking a receipt. Blight of anything decent to eat within walking distance but then there's Uber Eats and Doir Dash. I had to walk 20 minutes to the nearest pharmacy, a Walgreens but it was well equipped and lots of restaurants nearby. Near the hotel, lots of historic churches and buildings. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and I would stay there agaiGuest review byAudreyUnited States - 8.0
We go every year .
We go every year . It worked out for us to go the Tuesday after memorial day this year and (our local boardwalk is open for the season after memorial day ) big mistake with kids. Nothing is opened until mid June. Having the beach to ourselves was nice but trying to entertain a 4 yr old that can see the rides but can't go on them is hard. Just plan your accordinglyGuest review byAshleyUnited States - 4.0
Lack of parking was very frustrating.
Lack of parking was very frustrating. We drove around for literally an hour looking for a place to park on a Sunday. Lots everywhere were empty but there were no attendants or it was just places that you were not allowed to park like weekend closed business, even though there was plenty of parking available in their lot. And then to be out on the street where there is zero parking available it was unbelievably frustrating. We cut our trip short and left at 6:00 in the morning because I was afraid of my car getting towed on Monday morning. Street signs were vague and all of them had limited days as well as limited hours that you could park on those days and none of them without a parking permit. Nothing would bring me back to Jersey City. Nothing.Guest review byPaxton - 10.0

Nice secure area, mind the pavements they may be bumpy (though getting fixed from time to time), close to NYC, tunnel takes its time but was never extreme, nice small neighborhoods, great view on NYC, nice shopping (mall, low price shops, dine-in)Guest review byVividAustria - 10.0
Quiet and cozy. Love the pool and roof top.
Quiet and cozy. Love the pool and roof top. Room was excellent and house keeping were very nice and thorough with the rooms. Best place I ever stayed at. Beautiful view of the ocean. Board walk was right there. Bike rentals half a block away. All different kinds of food to choose from on the boardwalk and trolley is right there tooGuest review byAnonymousUnited States - 8.0

there were restuarants and shops close by. Bus stop into manhattan right outside and only 15 minutes into the city. For the price you pay to stay here plus travel its still much cheaper than staying in Manhattan.Guest review byVanessa23749South Africa - 10.0

Beautiful town, great restaurants, lovely beaches, great shopping, beautiful homes and gardens. Cape May has everything a seaside town could offer! Loved Lobster House and Ugly Mug for dining. Cove and Sunset Beach were our favorite beaches!Guest review bySusanUnited States - 4.0
It was a good location.
It was a good location. Advertised as fully equipped kitchen, but there was nothing in the kitchen area. We had to ask for a coffee pot and coffee. Breakfast was very sparse - a granola bar and small muffin. Room was very dated, I.e., cabinet doors falling off, shower over tub.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
The location was just right.
The location was just right. Walking distance to shopping mall, close to the airport. Close to many other great hotels. Didn't had much entertainment but good for a short trip. The elevator was nice, spacious and fast. Was not a luxurious but good for its owner. Some talking and music noise from the other rooms.Guest review byErwinNetherlands
