I planned to visit the city, but after reading up and hearing from some people that lived there i changed my plans. I decided to just visit for the day. The city is suffering from drug and homeless problems, I was told they are trying to reverse a policy of all drug legalisation, which hadn't gone well. I have travelled globally and to some poor countries and bad cities in the past, this had a bad vibe about the place. The "famous" bookstore is just like any other and nodiscript. Voodoo doughnuts which are on the must do list, are again completely overrrated. My advice, skip Portland and do Seattle instead.Guest review byDAvidUnited Kingdom - 8.0
I only had one night to stay this last time around.
I only had one night to stay this last time around. There are many things to do in Bend, but it is practically overrun. Any area of real interest you will have to conted with a lot of people and a lot of crazy traffic. Having visited on and off, and even and lived in Bend once, over the last 60 years I have seen the drastic change.. to this point it has become harder to navigate and deal with. This has been my experience wirh many small Oregon towns I remember from the past. However, I still Love Bend and will return but feel the need to plan well to avoid as much chaos as possible.Guest review byMongo46538United States - 6.0

Lincoln City is nice -- kind of between quaint and starting to 'grow up' into a modern city. There are more stores and restaurants opening, but still not a great deal of things to do outside of the casino. The weather is partially responsible, as the PNW is NOT like souther California -- here it is mostly cool/cold (or in CA terms, FREEZING). Bring warm clothes unless you are the "shorts and tank-top in a blizzard" type of person. Lots of small shops to explore, but overall public parking can still be a challenge.Guest review byDavidUnited States - 8.0
Seaside has everything to offer to your Family.
Seaside has everything to offer to your Family. We Absolutely Love FINN's Restaurant and Bar, it is always our Go TOO... Chicken Parmesan with Alfredo sauce instead of the regular menu order red sauce... We tried the Gelato ice cream shop for the 1st time this year, it was Great! And then we always end our stay by driving the end of the strip round about and then we drive down for pictures at the Cove at the south side of the beach....Guest review byShawnUnited States - 10.0

We drove from Los Angeles to Vancouver and the route that we took we had to drive through Eugene. It was absolutely beautiful. It's surrounded by lakes, streams and beautiful tall trees that just takes your breath away. It's peaceful with not a lot of traffic with eateries along the way. We only drove through but that drive make us want to come back and visit. We loved itGuest review byAndreUnited States - 10.0

I truly enjoyed Watching the tweakers in their natural habitat for there are simply like mere cats running from bridge to bridge popping up every so often to see if the mighty owl aka metro police is coming for they know the Xbox then game up not not to mention all the people in white painter shoots whistling tunes all the same tune for this is a very strange place much like Alice-in-Wonderland I wonder if we eat the mushrooms here if I were a taller not to mention the LSD that was quite amazing there's a place called Ashlyn bunch of naked people running around it was cool my next trip to Eugene hurts me better till we meet againGuest review byCarroll - 8.0

Loved the stay at Embarcadero room was great the front desk or not very helpful until they got the manager. He was great but they still didn’t actually tell me or called me saying what my price was because of the mixup staying at the bayfront was very confusing to park your It’s a nightmare can’t pick up Wi-Fi to pay for itGuest review byAnonymousUnited States - 6.0

Salem is quite small and unfortunately the state capitol was undergoing building work (it's one of the main sights). Not too many shops and restaurants downtown but the ones I went too were very good. Good place for a couple of days visit.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 2.0

Nothing I did not have what I needed at hotel 6. No fridge, microwave, or coffee pot. Bad lobby coffee. I was on 2nd floor coffee was downstairs. No elevator. I have MS hard to walk. Other guests were complaining for the same reason. Thin awful blanket on bed hardly any linens. One bar of soap only.Guest review bySalinas - 10.0
