Really enjoyed our stay at the Midland Hotel. We are travelling around Uruguay and the Midland was a wonderful oasis. It’s all inclusive, but unlike some (in other countries) you always felt that everything was fresh and well prepared. The Asado was a great option- and the included drinks options were excellent (good brands) , with the ability to trade up to a nice bottle of wine at a reasonable price. The view is lovely over the lake and the room was excellent.

Entering the gate into the large walled property was like changing countries. The Indonesian-inspired furnishings and decoration are very well done. Our room was enormous, well appointed, and very clean. Breakfast was exceedingly generous and high quality.
