My husband forgot his jacket at the Views Hotel .a:short while later we called the hotel to advise he had left his jacket in the cupboard on a hanger.we advised that we will pick it on our way back. When we got there 3 days later. No one knew anything about the jacket.it was disappointing and didn’t leave a good taste on our mouth. No-one really cared About our loss . We will certainly no stay in this hotel again.

    What wasn't closed for Easter was mostly booked out.

    What wasn't closed for Easter was mostly booked out. Not much to do or see. Beaches overdeveloped or off limits to non residents. Not a tourist friendly town. Nearby "Wilderness" was a joke with SAN Parks waiting to fleece overseas visitors just to go for a walk. Four days of disappointment.

    The house have breathtaking sea views and situated close to Restaurants. It is very easy to get around. The house offers total privacy and is beautiful. This house is equipped with everything you need and comfortable for the entire family. We loved our stay and want to come back for a longer stay.

    The accommodation was awesome, the reception super friendly and informative. The view was unequaled. It was a most memorable stay. The meals at Dutton's Cove were amazing. So glad that we chose Herold's Bay as a destination and Ozone Apartments as our host. The hike to the cross and the view from there was breathtaking. We were even blessed to see well over 300 dolphins in 2 consecutive days and 2 whales. Will definitely re-visit.

    Hoekwil is beautiful with lots to see - there is a big tree...

    Hoekwil is beautiful with lots to see - there is a big tree nearby which you can visit (make sure to wear comfortable shoes). There are also a few nice places to eat, drink coffee and enjoy the quiet surrounds. The accommodation in the area is also very nice and neat.

    George is well situated to give access to plenty of lovely...

    George is well situated to give access to plenty of lovely tourist attractions. From there it is easy to get to beautiful beaches and do some mountain trips. E.G the Power Van trip up the Outeniqua Mountains. The Red Berry farm with the largest permanent hedge maze in the Southern Hemisphere. Plenty of hiking and mountain bike opportunities in the George area. Home to the Outeniqua Country market, but yet close enough to other must visit places like Wildernis, Mosselbaai, etc. You are also spoilt for choice when it comes to shopping and stunning restaurants. (101 Meade Street, Deacon House, Phat Fish and Cowfish to name a few.)

    The Half Collared Kingfisher Trail was a great half-day hike...

    The Half Collared Kingfisher Trail was a great half-day hike - we hired canoes from the nature reserve camp site. At the farthest point was a waterfall! The beach at Wilderness is great - our kids loved the lagoon, specifically catching little fish with nets. The beach area around "Flat Rock" was also majestically beautiful.

    VERY GOOD ,BUT THE LOCAL SHOP HAS NOT MUCH TO OFFER. LOW ON STOCK AND THE BREAD WERE OLD.ON SUNDAY THE PLACE WERE PACKED AND SOME VISITORS HAD FIGHTS OVER PARKING SPACE.AS THERE IS NO DEMARCATED PARKING SPACE FOR VISITORS STAYING OVER ,SO IT WAS A BATTLE IF YOU LEFT YOUR PARKING SPACE AND RETURN AND COULD NOT FIND PARKING.

    It is a city with a town feel.

    It is a city with a town feel. The people are friendly and helpful. The traffic is not bad and everyone drives in a civil manner. There are a lot to see, historical buildings and the Botanical Gardens, with an Italian restaurant and a Birds of Prey sanctuary was the highlight of my trip. There are great hospitals too.
