We could’nt get the room air conditioning work even if the owner showed us how to use it.

Location was inside the castle. It was so beautiful. Not fully reachible by car so you have to walk a little bit. We parked in the next door restaurants parking lot for free because we had a dinner there. Room was beautifully decorated and clean. Everything seemed to be new and there were some renovations still going on in the main building.

The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.The room itself was luxurious and steeped in history, with modern amenities. Overall, I enjoyed my time there and would consider staying again in the future.

Style. Extraordinary Albergo Diffuso (scattered hotel). The first in Albania Setting. Time travel within confines of Kruja Castle Explore. Mountain town Kruje. Hiking in the area. Museum on site to learn all about Albania’s legends Rooms. Was in a upstairs room, lovely balcony with views of the gorgeous castle. Room had a mini fridge so you can store cold drinks. @ the hotel. Parking is near bazaar outside castle. I had no idea where to park and had luggage with me but called and the owner Olsi Pengili came out to help me. Skipping checkin formalities was a relief after the long trip from Hong Kong to Albania. Sunset right in front of the hotel was magical and the whole Albergo Diffuso project Olsi is going through to restore and preserve this area is exceptional. The day I left, I had a punctured tire and the Hertz car did not have a spare, Olsi saved the day, a car mechanic showed up and fixed my tire on the spot! Food & drinks. No restaurant yet but plenty nearby. Originally wanted to go to Restorant Bardhi but ended up at Kroi, where they have fantastic staff, including the one that alerted me to my tire.

The dinner and breakfast introduced after signing an agreement were both excellent. I could feel the hotel’s top-class status. The parking lot was also safe and free. Above all, the hotel was located inside the fortress, so we had a quiet and comfortable time. I promise again next time.

Amazing location within the castle. Our room offered a stunning view of the surroundings, up to the sea. The room/hotel has a minimalist but traditional style. Well done, it is gorgeous. The room is very comfy. The staff was very helpful, thank you !

Because the hotel was inside the castle walls you had to find parking spaces on your own. There were some public spaces you could use or pay for private parking(which wasn't too expensive). It's not the hotels fault but a detail worth mentioning. The hotel was still renovating and didn't have its own restaurant so for breakfast I had to wait until 11am for another restaurant to open to eat and some other restaurants didn't serve breakfast. This is a small detail that wasn't a big deal for me.

I liked that the hotel was inside the castle and you had quite a few restaurants 2 or 3 minutes away. It gave me a good feeling because I could if I wanted to stay only inside the castle walls because I had all the necessary things that I needed(restaurants to eat or drink and also the museum 1 minute away). The hotel was very clean and comfortable, it was also very calm there weren't any loud noises. The host was helpful, he suggested a restaurant to us that had amazing food.

none but as we knew when we made the reservation, we were disappointed that we were unable to eat breakfast because the construction work in the dining area had not been completed. PS.The dining area and bedroom are separated, so you can comfortably use the hotel even during construction.

A beautiful accomodation in a perfect location. The Kruja castle is an amazing place, with one of the best sunsets I have ever seen. The hotel is located literally inside the castle, which makes up for a special experience. The staff is very helpful, the rooms new and clean, and the place just perfect, definitely recommend this stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Albergo Diffuso! The nice owner met us and showed us where to park. He recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner, where we ended up going two more times during our 2-days stay. The room was beautifully decorated with antique furniture and exposed stone walls. The hotel is very new and clean. The location is exceptional - within the castle walls. We would definitely recommend it!

No breakfast on site (not an issue as plenty nearby, but once construction finished the hotel will be even more complete) Slightly stinking bathroom (drains) -seemed to be a problem throughout Albania, so I wouldn't worry, but worth the host trying to address as a new property. The heating struggled a little bit to warm the room (winter).

Awesome location right next to the castle (as in less than 50m from it). Nice new hotel with well equiped rooms (as per booking.com photos). Very comfy bed and pillows! Plenty of resturaunts & bars nearby. Shuttle bus & supermarket about 10-15min walk away. Don't stay anywhere else as for the price these are the nicest, newest rooms you will find.

It Could be even more comfortable if in the bathroom there was more hangers for towels and clothes. But thats not a big issue. There Could be info about the location of parking.

Rooms very nice and modern, nicely decorated and fantastic shower! Clean and tidy, everything felt so fresh. Very good friendly staff throughout they always happy to help and kindly printed out our boarding passes. They did not have the restaurant finished when we were there but I have no doubt that will be at a high standard too. Location could not have been better for Kruja! Perfect for a couple retreat, felt very safe and full of culture in the castle grounds. Highly recommended 😊

Because it is in the castle, parking is a bit tricky. Again, as it's a new hotel, the haven't yet fully worked out the parking situation particularly with regards to how to get luggage from the car to the hotel. Again, the manager was super accommodating and helped get us to the parking and get our luggage back to the hotel. Traveler's should note that all parking will be offsite due to the amazing location of the hotel.

The hotel was inside the castle. My room faced the castle. The room was large, super clean, very comfortable. The manager was very welcoming and accommodating. The hotel is very new and he's still arranging a lot of details (like the breakfast area isn't ready yet, coffee service was not ready either) but he went out of his way to arrange for coffee and brought us bottled water. Very lovely, kind manager!

A beautiful restored Ottoman building inside Kruja Castle. Brand new rooms with a restaurant to come later - you can find breakfast two minutes away outside the castle. Great shower and very quiet.
