It's a great budget stay. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. Everything was clean and the view from our room was down the main street of the city which was amazing.

The owner is not always present, so you’ll need to contact them when needed. The room I stayed in received a lot of sunlight, and even with the provided fan, it was quite hot during the summer

Around 10 minutes on foot from the bus station. Very close to Rruga Kolë Idromeno, a lively street lined with many shops. Several supermarkets nearby. Bicycles available for rent for about €1 per hour. The owner is kind and helpful. They can keep your luggage, which is very convenient for doing the Valbonë–Theth hike with only the essentials. The two restaurants the owner recommended were both delicious. The room was spacious. The toilet and shower were in the same room, but there was a partition, so the floor didn’t get soaked.

We stayed at this lovely hostel right on Scutari’s pedestrian street (pedonalja), and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of the city, yet peaceful and quiet at night. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with beautifully decorated common areas that make it easy to meet other travelers or simply unwind. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to share tips about local spots and hidden gems.

The dorms don’t have air conditioning, which can be uncomfortable during hotter days. If you’re sensitive to heat, I’d suggest going for a private room with AC. Also, on the day I was checking out, there was an issue with a damaged overhead electrical wire, reportedly caused by a passing van. Unfortunately, the local electricity authority was very slow to respond—even after multiple complaints. The hostel staff did everything they could, including calling the police, who then contacted the electric board. Someone came, took photos, and left without fixing it. It seemed like a simple repair, but I don’t know when it was actually resolved. Despite these issues, the staff remained calm and supportive, and I truly appreciated their efforts.

I had a truly wonderful experience at this hostel. The staff were absolutely amazing—incredibly kind, warm-hearted, and genuinely committed to their work. You can feel the honesty and love they put into running this place, which made my stay feel like home. The location is perfect—right in the heart of everything. Whether you're exploring the city or just want easy access to restaurants, shops, and attractions, this place couldn't be better situated. Please note: the dorm rooms do not have air conditioning, so if you're someone who prefers AC, I highly recommend booking a private room, which comes with that comfort. Overall, this hostel is a gem—a place full of soul and hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again!

The bathroom was usually not that clean, but I guess that happens when you share it. Someone was not able to use the toilet.

There weren’t many people staying during our visit, so it felt quiet—which might be something to keep in mind for solo travelers looking to socialize.

Spent 2 nights here—one before the Valbonë–Theth hike and one after. The hostel is super chill, spacious, and in a great location right by the main street with restaurants, grocery stores, and bakeries. The host was very friendly and gave great recommendations. It’s only a 6-minute walk to the Theth/Koman bus stop. We appreciated the €3 laundry service after the hike and were able to store our larger bags while we were gone. There’s also bike rental for €5, and the kitchen is well-equipped. Overall, great value for money!

We had an excellent stay at My Hostel!! The place was very clean, well-equipped and super comfortable. The room was spacious and cozy, the kitchen had everything needed for simple cooking and everything worked perfectly. WiFi, hot shower, soap, toilet paper… all included. The neighborhood is very alive and full of restaurants, supermarkets, bars… but inside the hostel it gets quite and calm at night, perfect for a good rest. It has two open common areas to chill and some rooms have private balcony. One load for washing machine is 3€ and to rent a bike for the full day is 5€. Bruno works there and is very kind and makes you feel comfortable and welcome. We had a great time with him too; he's very friendly! My partner and I had a wonderful time there and would definitely stay here again. Thanks Bruno for your hospitality!!

Perfect location, clean and tidy everything, very friendly host, the room was spacious and comfortable, with our private terrace. Very good value for the price, would definitely recommend! :)

Kitchen hobs were a bit difficult to use and there weren't many sockets for charging things, but there were not a lot of people staying when I was there so it was okay for me

Atti and Eugene are great. The hostel was clean. . The location was perfect and Eugene will help you book your bus to Theth. Great view from the top floor too

It was a nice room in the old center of Shkoder. Very good price quality. There's a kitchen you can use and airconditioning in the bedroom.

The receptionist, although a little overworked between his jobs in the hostel and the bar downstairs, is really friendly and accessible, and made sure we had the nicest stay possible. The price is unbeatable, for that kind of price, we expected a shady and not so clean hostel, but it was definitely up to the standards of some 20-30 euros hostels you can find in Tirana. A must.

I didn't want to leave this place

Excellent location in the middle of vibrant city centre, at the same time far away enough to be quiet at night. The hostel also rents bikes, the best way to move around in Shkoder and vicinity. The staff is extremely friendly and honest. I wanted to pay a certain sum for bike rental and they insisted on me paying less. What could be said more?

Is not our first time in Shkodër, and I can assure this is the best hostel to be. Location, clean, beds super confortable, big rooms, nice vibes and the kindness of the best host, Bruno. We felt very confortable and like at home here. Thank you for everything.
