Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaHotel is average price but facilities are poor. There is no AC and not fridge available in the room. It is old hotel, therefore if you are looking for comfort, look somewhere else 6 out of 10 rating
I dont recommend it and I wont come back.

United StatesSome rooms are much older than others, I got moved from a much more updated room to a much older room due to some accessibility needs. There isn't air conditioning in rooms. The elevator broke twice. It's not that great of a location, both for safety and getting around: there is so much construction happening in the area that you can't get to this place in one of the directions by public transport. You have to definitely plan accordingly. it isn't close to much of anything so most everything is at least a 20min public transit ride and there are no places to eat or anything else nearby. Some rooms have more outlets, actual mirrors, and overhead lights while others don't. The breakfast is 10, but literally is just a few meats, bread, and eggs.
The staff were honestly exceptional. Even with a lot of issues they were very great in handling this. They do day storage of your luggage, but need to communicate that better and what they do with your luggage between the staff. Comes with hair dryer, decent size rooms. Comfortable enough beds, good towels.

SwitzerlandThe noise from the street. There wasn't an AC, so I had to keep the window open and be exposed to the noise of a busy street below. But even with the window closed the noise was quite high. The squeaky floor. There was no glass to drink water from.
The room was specious and clean. The facilities were adequate but old. Good value for money.

SwitzerlandYou know what, for a 3 star hotel this is great. We stayed one night in a deluxe room and were very happy with it. It was one of the cheaper places with decent reviews that was close to a train station. Just one stop to Vienna main station. It wasn't perfect, a bit of hair behind the bathroom door, and decor is a little jaded (and not to my taste) but it was great for the price and location. The staff were really friendly and helpful. They let us have our room early, store our luggage and use the toilet after after check out (which isn't until 12 o'clock, and gave us directions into town. There are very busy roads outside but that didn't bother us. There was the option to have breakfast if you wanted, you could even decide that morning, but we didn't.

Very good Bed, location situated next to where we wanted, next to one of the bigger train stations, still no street noise to hear thanks to good windows. Great shower with enough water, drinkable tap water Beautiful architecture with high rooms, therefore nice atmosphere.

Czech RepublicThe room was very... Minimalistic. Just bed, table, chair and empty walls. Feels odd. It is ok to stay few nights but do not expect any charm or spirit.
The room was big. I mean big. Never seen such a big room for such price.

Great personel, big room, good localization, possible to eat breakfast for 10 Eur. I can recommend this place. Very close to train and tram. To Hbf railway was around 20 min by foot.

CroatiaIt was a bit cold in the room for us so we didn't felt completely comfortable, and the room was a bit smaller. More smiles from the receptionists would be also nice.
The location of hotel is really great, right next to train and tram station, close to the center. It was clean, and bed was comfortable.

CanadaIt was far too noisy in my room. When I first entered, I assumed the windows were open, as the street noise was quite intense. It turned out that there simply wasn't any soundproofing at all. In addition to the loud traffic noise, there was a major construction site right outside the hotel. If I had stayed, the noise would undoubtedly have been much worse the next day (I checked in on a Sunday). I found other accommodations not far away but in a much quieter hotel, so I checked out several hours after checking in. I contacted Hotel Allegro to request a partial refund, given that I had booked a four-night stay but didn't spend a single night there, but no one from the hotel even responded.
I checked out after only a few hours, so I didn't really like anything.

SloveniaThe air conditioning control didn't work. Therefore the room was not warm. There was also a big construction site right in front of our window, fortunately they were only noisy on the first morning.
It is close to public transport with good connections to the city centre and sights. The room was very big. The breakfast was OK for the price but nothing special otherwise. The staff were really nice and informative.

IndonesiaThere is a major issue with this hotel if you travel with a car. They have no parking. Parking in the no-exit street in front of the hotel for checking in (20mn) is enough to get a parking fine. The parking that the hotel may indicate does not accept international visa card. The hotel is quite old. Our shower was leaking inside the bedroom. There are major works in the street in front of the hotel which can be noisy. I do not know how far are the public trsnsport for schonburn castle.
