How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The minor issue is the lamps in the room. There are approximately 5,6 lamps in the room but they are not bright so its better when you want romantic atmosphere. It would be better to put at least one bright lamp in case someone studies.
I liked the room . It was very large, clean and comfortable. There were sofa ,two tables, chair in the room which is a big plus not to seat on the bed all day.

parking is kind of a problem on a rainy day as the hotel doesnt have a parking place. We parked our car at a nearby public parking house (10EUR / day). Also, I would recommend the management to reconstruct the interior of the building and elevator as it would give a more premium feeling.
The hotel is a great value for the money. The metro station is very nearby. They have very big bathroom. No problem with hot water. Overall we were satisfied.

Through the windows you can be seen from the outside, so we had to close the curtains. Apart from that, the breakfast is very expensive at 15euros per person. Instead we opted to go to the bar opposite to the hotel, where it was much cheaper and value for money.
The room was very spacious. It was also very clean. Since we visited in December, the room was very cozy. As a location its like 5 minutes away from Schonnbrun Metro.

Paying for rooms and have to argue with them to get what you paid for.Also paid for 4 persons × 6 nights breakfast and last day asked for packed bfast as we left at 7-15 am as we flew early and told us absolutely no they don't do.

The receptionist told us we could park nearby for 10€ - 24h and we ended up paying €48 which was not expected

Elevator broke down and information about it was only in the lobby, not on the floors. Except that, everything was ok.
Good location, bus station is in front of hotel, metro station less than 10 minutes by foot. Various food choice for breakfast.

The lift was not operational and it was challenging to go up the floors with kids and luggage. The shower gel was empty in the room and receptionist cudnt arrange one for us. That was a bummer as we checked in on late Sunday eve where no grocery store was open.
Property is located right opposite to the bus stop and very convenient to reach with good connectivity to public transport. Rooms were clean and good value for money.

No refrigerator in the room and nobody came to take out trash, change towels, bring toilet paper, etc. You have to ask for :) . Check in is only starting 4PM but we could leave our bags in untill then
Hotel is located pretty close to U4 subway and also there is a bus line (57A) that gets you to city center. Schönbrunn is a 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast was okish, staff was nice. Room decent.

location is little far from city center, but I already knew that. Everything else is perfect.
Staff are very welcoming. Rooms are very clean. Bed is very comfortable. The room i booked was pretty good size for three people. Toilet is huge. Accepted late checkout without any problems. The whole experience was so impressive.

No major issues. The curtains were too small and didn't cover the sides of the windows, allowing light into the room at night and limiting privacy. The air conditioning in our room was manual, with pipes and buckets inside the room—not a great sight. The staff experience was odd; while there was always a receptionist during the day, they sat at their desk with headphones on and didn’t acknowledge any guests.
Large room, large and very comfortable bed. Room was clean too. It's only 8min walk to the closest metro station.
