Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CroatiaCold in the room. The elevator closes the doors too quickly. You cannot go directly with elevator to the room floor from parking garage (-3).

HungaryIt runs a minimalistic concept. The bathroom is open to the room, thankfully the toilet is separate and has a door. There is no wardrobe (4 hangers behind a mirror, open on the sides) or sideboard or bedside table, no proper table or chair in the good sized room. No phone to reach reception or ask for services - guests have to go to reception in person if they need something. As explanation I was told that they run a low budget hotel, though the price is not very low compared to hotels in the vicinity. The room was overheated during of our stay in October and the temperature cannot be properly regulated except opening the window letting in fresh air and street noise. Hotel specialises on offering rooms with 2 beds and 2 bunkbeds for youngsters therefore many children, quite a bit of noise and mayhem at breakfast if you go early.
Modern, good location. Metro just at the door. Big parking, but complicated to find and costs €25 per night. Good breakfast, many fast elevators. Nice design. Comfortable beds, nice sheets and towels, good shower. There is a kind of self service restaurant/bar at night, simple food but better than nothing.

UkraineBreakfast were without vegetables and fruits at all, but again it’s okay if you stay here for 1 or 2 nights
The hotel is quite nice. Great location, very close to Schönbrunn Palace. The room’s furnishings was quite unusual, though not so bad. Feeling like you’re going somewhere by train. The receptionists were helpful. We didn’t like the breakfasts very much, there were without vegetables and fruits at all, though also quite proper. Overall impression: the hotel is not bad, though it has some drawbacks with which you could reconcile if you live here not for long, just for 1-2 nights.

Hungarywe stayed with our three-month-old baby for two nights. The first night was very cold, I informed the reception, they told me how to turn on the heater, but it didn't work in the room. After that we told to the reception staff that we would like to change rooms because it is not so good to put a baby to sleep in a room with 10 degrees... No help, apologies, intention for solving the problem from the staff there. Finally the staff managed to change rooms for the third time. The lady told us that she could not bring the baby crib to the new room because she was spending the night alone, but I was already so disappointed at that point that I could not be bothered. I have been traveling with my family for almost 10 years, but we have never had such a bad experience. We will def. not choose H2 Hotel again.
The location, parking was good.

CyprusStaff reception was rude, arrogant and not willing to cooperate. I was there also in July for 5 nights and the other person at the reception was exactly the opposite in manners!
Breakfast pastries were not sufficient in variety and nor choice of bread. Reception staff was rude and never gave me a proper invoice- just a pre-invoice, claiming that the final invoice should be issued to me from booking.com. I wrote via booking.com about this and still waiting for a copy on my invoice.

PolandPersonnel. Receptionist. Disgusting providence of the manager when paying for the room. Most likely he has problems with the English language. He could not find part of our payment in his system and wanted to resubmit the payment. Although we showed that the payment was successful in our banking application. He started to get indignant and behave in a boorish manner. Although his system is not our problem.

KyrgyzstanBring your own iron if you don't want to walk around in wrinkled clothes :( We were unable to get an iron during our 4-days stay at this hotel and plus the hotel does not provide laundry/ironing services. I was visiting the reception twice a day to get an iron and each time I got sad "sorry, we don't have it now" from the staff. The hotel did not bother to provide an alternative during our 4 days, such as paid ironing services or purchasing additional equipment on its balance.

United KingdomThe aircon in our first room didnt work, having spoke to reception the following day, (after a horribly hot night) was surprised to be told by them that the hotel ‘doesn’t really have aircon’.. there is a system of moving the temperature + or - 3 degrees but suffice to say having moved rooms although better than the first room it still wasnt great. There is no phone in the room, which i have never had before, nor is there a fridge or a kettle with tea coffee facilities either, the hotel was clean, staff were pleasant, its not a bad hotel, but if i visit vienna again it will be to a different hotel!
The best feature is that the hotel it is literally yards away from the underground station, (meidling haupstrasse), however despite looking around the area there were hardly any bars and only a few restaurants. It is very easy to get around Vienna from here.. get an underground ticket, a 7 day ticket for all underground trams and buses costs about 19 euros, great value and cheaper than London.. please note that although there are no barriers and the scheme works on an honesty system, we were checked twice in a five day visit , dont be tempted to try and use it without buying a ticket, it is 105 euro fine! Breakfast was ok and coffee was good

Saudi ArabiaIt was a terrible experience staying in the hotel overall. The air conditioner in the room wasn't working and the room was very hot. I had to go to reception at 3am asking them to fix it. Thankfully the room was changed and air conditioner was working fine at that room. But at sun rise the room was full of sunlight, we discovered that room had no curtains, and the window blinds were not working as well. (through the electronic controller). I again went to reception and complained, I was told that it can't be fixed but they are happy to change room again. My family rejected it, considering we already unpacked/packed/unpacked and also they were apprehensive the new room would have some other new problem. The location, staff, breakfast, cleaniless doesn't matter if you can't get a comfortable sleep in a cool, dark room after a tirning day.
The location was right at subway station, and a decent Turkish restaurtant at 2 minutes walk serving Halal food, which we were looking for. The breakfast was good, not exceptional.
