The hotel was very clean, the breakfast was modest but on point, and very tasty! We were especially pleased to find lactose free alternatives for dairy products. The rooms were very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and kind, but we want to especially thank Annalena, who was always smiling and energetic.

Our bedroom was pleasantly large (much larger than expected) and very originally furnished. The bathroom was perfect for our needs. We particularly appreciated having a Nespresso machine in the room with a free refill of coffee capsules every day!

Fabulous staff on arrival and throughout. Great breakfast - lots of options and all fresh and delicious. Rooms all clean and comfortable, nice quiet bar just great for an early evening pre-dinner drink.

Room was very small and a bit dark. Bar area too small and choice of room service meals very limited.

The breakfast was really good and dining room great. Staff were really helpful. Check in and out was really quick. Austrian style very grand building. Good location if you want to go to museums and art galleries but a bit far out from shops and restaurants.

I would have liked some daylight in my room. I was on 6 floor. Also breakfast at €29 was rather expensive and I don’t eat a lot so not a good deal!

Shower head for rain shower needed a quick descaling. That was really it, and only mentioned because we were asked to comment.

Great stay at Josefshof am Rathaus enjoying all aspects from before arrival to after leaving. Breakfast including all needs and wishes, and breakfast room was cosy and calm. Room was excellent and so was the bathroom. Lovely stay, and within walking distance to what we needed to reach.

The bathroom sometimes smelled somewhat of waste water or sewage. It would have been expected that the bathroom had things like hand creme or body lotion. Although the elevator sign stated that it only worked with a room key, it functioned without a room key.

The location was quite good and convenient to a nearby metro station and tram station. The hotel was also in a quiet location, and the room was quite quiet. The room was reasonably large, modern/new, and comfortable.

The Front Office Manager to sweet Leyla at the front desk were exceptional. All the staff were so helpful in many ways. The breakfast was just delicious with homemade pastries and wonderful cheeses, eggs, sausage etc. too much more to mention. Having been in the hotel business myself for close to twenty years I have never witnessed such sincere staff. The hotel manager is great as well. Book your reservations early as they are always full. You're going to love it!

Room tended to be too warm as it was on the top floor with window towards the sky. The blinds helped keep the heat down during the day and dark in the mornings, but we could only open one window with the automatic opener. And the window had to be closed if we wanted to have the blinds down; we could not regulate the blinds so that they only closed part way.

We know the area so the room and location were great. Nice bed and room in a Klimt style with appropriate closet space. Nice shower that was not cramped.

The hotel is amazing. Check in was smooth and fast, the staff was helpful and friendly and extremely professional. Breakfast has a wide choice of products, everything is fresh and tasty and it is open till 12:00 which allows lazy relaxed mornings. The room is nice and has all the amenities which you might need.

The location is the major hit. Public transport is in the close vicinity and the Museum square is nearby. The breakfast is really good. Value for money.

It is a wonderful hotel!! Location, room, bed very comfortable. Clean, interior beautiful. Location convenient. Right behind the parliament and everything is super close and convenient. Separately worth mentioning the staff. Very friendly and attentive. I left my wallet and they sent it to me without any problems. My husband had a birthday and they congratulated us very nicely and treated us with wine. If you want to enjoy your vacation, I would definitely recommend it.
