Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesVery tight layout with the bed almost blocking access to the desk area. No towel racks and only one chair for sitting. The compactness was taken a bit too far for comfort.
Room was modern and clean, however, laid out in an odd way. Had they configured the space to include an unused part of the balcony it would have made the room much more spacious and comfortable.

United KingdomThe shower and toilets have glass doors (toilet door is frosted) onto the bedroom. Would not recommend for new couples!
Well decorated hotel and apartment with a nice bar area. Room was very compact but had everything that was needed for a short city break.

AustriaThe frequent guests have to do the whole registration process every time. The property should expedite the check-in process when guests are coming frequently.

United StatesWe really liked the vibe of this hotel. It was trendy and hipster. It is just outside the city center and museum district. It is close to all of the famous restaurants, tourist spots, and the subway. Hotel was clean, and the bed was comfortable. In addition, if you choose to opt out of room cleaning to save water, you got a drink ticket. We would come back!

United KingdomThe room looks bare and uninviting with white walls, white bedding. It looks like a hospital room, not a hotel room. There’s no shelves or chests of draws where you can put your clothes, just hangers that you hang on big hooks. A vanity set would be a nice touch.
The location of the hotel is great if you travel from/to the airport. The Mitte Wien station is about 5min walk. It’s fairly close to the centre, it takes about 20mins to get to Stephanplatz.

South KoreaView is roof view, means literally roof. So actually nothing to see from window. But what embarassing thing is that it shaped like corner, so when I open the window, some room's window is so near that when i let it opened, somehow i can hear their sound. Also they would hear my music too.
It located near Landstrasse Station, where you probably pass by on the way travel in wien. In and near wien mitte(landstrasse station), you could use every facilities whatever you want with very easiliy. Station only needed 5m by feet. Also, in the middle way to landstrasse, there's a bakery, where i like mostly, is near. Mandel Croissant is my favorite, and it located near mean everything. One interesting thing from this room was room space and speaker. Room was wide enough for one person, and toilet was literally same size as room where you could sleep. So you can dance easily while shower. They also provide you Mashal Speaker, it is really good to make music. Their Radio turns music really good too.

United KingdomStrange tapping noise outside my window, possibly water dripping onto the surface outside, that with the combination of late night music on the Friday night meant I found it hard to sleep. The Thursday night was fine.
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The design of the hotel was cool, I liked the music theme. They offered the option of having a free drink rather than having fresh towels the 2nd day, which was a good swap. Good location for exploring the city.

United KingdomThe location is a bit further from the city centre than I would have liked. The corridors are black and dismal, although all other areas of the hotel are bright and colourful.
The staff were extremely helpful and did all they could to provide a pleasant stay. They provided me with a european phone charger as I didnt have one. The customer service was excellent, from all staff including Denis and Nara. The room I had, a loft room, was spacious and very comfortable.

Czech RepublicThe hotel felt like a hospital and was way too hipster for us (felt like in Berlin). We got a room for disabled people, hence the shower was huge without any shower walls/glass, the water was everywhere. There is no closet nor any safe in the room. You need to self check in.

AustraliaThe hotel pumps music through its corridors loudly in the evening. Whilst I understand it’s trying to be cool it is very annoying. Also there outdoor spaces could not be less inviting.

United KingdomI really didn't like the black hallways, black doors and charcoal coloured carpet. It was very depressing and not very welcoming. Our first room was fine but in a 4* hotel you should be able to get out both sides of the bed in any room. We paid an extra €80 for that privilege. Young people probably don't mind but as we get older, crawling over the bed isn't ideal. The foyer could do with a freshen up and the breakfast was just ok.
I loved the tea, coffee and ironing facilities, the balconies and the ball mat on the wall - great for entertaining young or not so young people! The bed was very comfortable and the shower power was great. Loved all the musical instruments! It's a beautiful building on the outside. Loved the ethos and the staff were all great!
