The property was a great size . Three great bedrooms and 2 bathrooms the kitchen had everything you need . The staff left easy to follow, instructions on arrival and departure. A easy walk and the Darwin art walk .the apartment was spotless.

AustraliaWe had originally requested a 4 bedroom apartment in the booking.com search and it cane up with this apartment. It initially stated 4 bedrooms and as you read on it said 3 bedrooms with 4 beds so could be a little misleading.
We liked that it had everything we needed, hairdryer, iron and cooking facilities. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was within walking distance to most things.

Australia1a. Email communication: each email was a standardized message, same text (long). The toilet seat was half off the toilet seat and the water from the shower ran straight out of the shower in front of the toilet to the drain in front of the wash basin. We were told by the maintenance guy when he came to secure the toilet seat that the owner had removed the screen door to make the shower disability 'friendly'. I said that it was now in fact a hazard for all users having water running across the floor. We mopped the floor with the mop that was provided which was filthy and the bucket had dry sludge in the bottom. The maintenance man cleaned the bucket and said that he would arrange a new bucket, mop set. We said that a new mop only would be acceptable as he had cleaned the original bucket. We requested extra towels to help dry the floor. The room with twin beds had one of the beds with no mattress protector and the queen bed in the room near the lounge area had a mattress that each spring could be felt when laying on it. We rang and reported these issues and a mattress protector (wrong size) and a queen quilt ( we asked for a topper) were placed in the lounge room while we were out. Also placed there were extra towels to help with water from the shower along with a new bucket and mop still in the box! We rang again and Benji justified the situation - at no point did he acknowledge let alone apologise. A queen topper was delivered and made the bed more comfortable. The ensuite shower door open inwards - not sure how anyone would get in to help someone who may fall or be ill whilst showering - we question whether it is up to safety standard? The front door was filthy. I know this sounds picky but the apartments are advertised as luxury so we expected a higher standard than we received. 1b. We checked in 10 Mch. On the 1 March I emailed requesting a 2hr later checkout. They responded saying that my request has been noted and they would respond closer to check in.
We arrived with instructions in hand to access the locked box but was not able to open it. We rang and were told that our apartment had changed and to use another box. That worked. The guy sent the alternative instructions via text while we were at the locked box and said that an email had been sent. I checked the phone and found a 2nd email but the details were the same as we were using that did not work. ( we had assumed that the 2nd email was all about the 4 digit code so did not consider that there would be a change of instructions to delve further as we were expecting a separate email with a 4 digit code. (I have since gone through the emails on my PC rather than the phone-did not travel with the PC- and see another link but that link was not in a separate email but at the bottom of the original email that we got the instructions from). It would have helped if they wrote there was a change to our apartment and here are new details.
