“The hotel is exactly 1km (upward) from the Lake Thun so it was a good thing we had car to drive up and down. There were also 02 EV charging spots right near the lake side, so it was good to have it when our car needed charging urgently. As for the property, rooms are spacious, staff was very pleasant and accommodating. They helped us with everything we asked for, so even though it was a bit hot (31 C in June 2025), they provided us with a table fan.
There's also a Supermarket (Coop) within 50m of this hotel so if you need anything, you can just go there (except on Sundays, when it's closed). The hotel is located at a place such that it allowed us to explore both ends of Lake Thun and even go as far as Lucern and Grindelwald (one place a day) and come back the same night.
It was way more convenient this way than booking multiple hotels across regions.”
