Everything was perfect! Well proportioned room size, view of the alps from the window, cleanliness and convenience of location and an excellent breakfast served cheerfully each morning. Front office staff was also very friendly.

The bathroom and the room is separated with glass and totally see through. We would prefer an option to disable the see through on the bathroom glass. Shower floor is really slippery, the material used is not safe.

The location is really good. Stuff is friendly and really helpful. We loved the fact that we were given a code to use the Bern public transport and travel in Bern free of charge. They also offered free mini bar.

Standard rooms do not have any direct sunlight. On top of it, our initial room was looking at an indoor alley type of thing one on side, whose top was covered with some plastic covers to prevent below from rain. However the noise of the rain drops on those covers would make my sleep impossible. Therefore I had to buy an upgrade to a better room, which was not really expensive at all.

Rooms are nicely decorated, bed and pillows were pretty comfortable. My upgraded room had a nice view and a little balcony.

Liked everything...would like a few more teabags in room to start, but that's about all. Didn't take breakfast at hotel so unable to comment on that.

Really nice hotel in lovely location just across the bridge from the old town. Room was very clean and comfortable with a lovely view towards the mountains.

CONS - [ ] Sink is very small - [ ] English telephone use instructions would be nice

ROOM Premier King Bedroom with Balcony PROS - [ ] Free Bern city transportation card. Booked through booking.com and didn’t know needed to enter all the guest names for bern pass activation. It was easily resolved but to save time, sure all names are entered into the system upon booking. - [ ] Central - take number 9 tram from central station and alight three stops to kursaal. The hotel will just be across. Zytglogge and old town only one bus stop away. There’s also a grocery called Aldi at the bus stop. - [ ] Staff were very courteous. I broke my snowglobe and asked for a vacuum of the room at night. Special thanks to “Hyatt” (not sure if I heard it right) - [ ] Spacious - [ ] Free refillable drinks - still water, sparkling water, beer and apple juice - [ ] There’s a small balcony.

They upgraded me to the top floor and with a view of the alps. I have lived in Switzerland nearly 20 years, but have never seen such an amazing view. Staff were helpful and very professional. The best of swiss hospitality. Bed was super comfortable, and the room was spacious and well designed. I did not eat breakfast, but I would return, because it looked amazing.
