I have enjoyed the double-decker beds. The lockers were very well accessible. The showers and toilets were not too far from the rooms. I loooooved the greenery of plants in the vicinity - almost botanical garden vibes.

I suppose there are houses or some event/ concert halls around the hostel which made noise late night. Even the light was on till almost 2 am. May be I stayed there for a weekend and this doesn’t happen other days.

The staff at the front desk were so lovely and helpful! Nice showers and bathrooms are ok. Lockers are good size and convenient, beds are ok. Free washing machine!

Lovely facility with a community feel. The private rooms were very beautifully designed and there were lots of common areas to choose from. Close to the train station and tram network. Great for solo travellers.

The location was clean and quite, 10 minute walk from the train station with a lot of shops and restaurants along the way. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bus and tram pass included was a nice surprise. We only stayed for the night but wish we stayed longer!

I was not really sure if this accomodation located near a cafe or concert hall but one night I coudlnt sleep when an opera music/singer performed and it was extremlly loud. Terrible

The hostel locate in a fantastic public renovated area called "Gundeldinger Feld" which used to be an old factory, the place really give the artistic, lively and inspiring vibe. Additionally, you have a tram stop nearby which would easily take you to the city center and train station is only 10 minutes walk. The hostel itself is really artistic, the bed and bathroom was really clean. The staff were really helpful and friendly. :)

Overall a great hostel. Stayed in 8 bed dorm which has plenty of space. Lockers are provided. Generous amount of spaces on ground floor for relaxation. Espresso coffee is available at the bar for extra charge - well worth the price. The staff are incredibly helpful. Excellent value for money.

The room was very aesthetic and clean! We particularly liked the bathroom. The location was also great, it was at a walking distance to many things and the tram was readily available as well.

The other hostels I've stayed in had towels, so I did not bring one. Basel Backpack should have some. The rest was not due to the hostel but just to the rudeness of the other women that stayed in the room. They were noisy, forgot their key and came back in the middle of the night, had their alarm ringing for hours, put their lights at 2am, etc etc

The staff was incredibly nice, and the bedding was comfortable. The hostel is quite old, but it was sweet to see that it was decorated with a lot of plants. I also loved the breakfast.

The kitchen is quite small but its alright.

High ceilings so it doesnt feel packed. Employees seem nice and helpful. They also offer breakfast for an additional fee
