Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwitzerlandNot meeting any staff was horrible since I couldn’t open the keybox on the door! And when clicking ‘contact us’ I was forced to diwnload WhatsApp bcause you don’t provide a phone number :( I tried to ring a 078-number nut nobody answered…. Luckily I spotted a separate keybox for people who lost their keys and that opened correctly. But all in all it took me 40min during which I planned to take a nap…grrr, no good experience!!!

United KingdomEverything. Nothing worked. The doors in the elevator got stuck so I didn’t feel safe using it. My room was filthy and smelled bad. The door to my room wouldn’t close. The electricity didn’t work properly so I had to sleep with the light on so that I could charge my phone but the light in the bathroom didn’t work so I had to shower in the dark. The customer service team had no sympathy and refused to give me a full refund claiming that “By having a 24/7 web chat available we have done our part.”

There were tramps screaming outside the building during the whole night and there is basically only a single plug in the place at the far side of the room (although there is a splitter provided). Lastly, the internet connection is horrendous, disconnecting frequently and with a very low speed; it’s 2025, please provide a reliable and respectable speed as people could need to use it for work.

NorwayBoth the shared toilet and the shared bathroom were filthy. People had been smoking in the bathroom; there were cigarette butts and ash in both the sink and toilet, several dirty towels on the floor, dirty toilet and no proper shower, only a tube. At least there was hot water. And toilet paper. Also, the key box on my room door did not work. I could not open it (with the code sent to me.). Fortunately, I found the spare key box in the corridor, and that worked, and I used that key. I also had to message the hotel to get the code in time. It was not sent to me after I hade booked the room and checked in; I had to ask for it. The room itself was nice enough, with a balcony. There was a fan and lamps and a sink and soap and a bed with clean sheets and towels. But the curtain was not long enough to cover the whole window.
The reception and lounge area is nice and clean.

United KingdomIt was extremley expensive (800 francs for three nights) once we entered our room it hasnt been clean. The bins were full. The beds hadn’t been stripped. The bathroom full of dirt. They said it would be clean by 16:00 so we left our belongings and returned; still not clean. We had our room changed but the facilities were disgusting. A curtain hanging off the wall. Shower head not bolted into the tiles. Dust and filth under the bed. And a gentleman was asleep every night in the communal waiting room
The location was very close to the transport system , super markets and historical centre easily accessible.
