Beautiful location with view down into th evalley. Old abandoned village comes to life by restoring individual stone houses.Young couple is friendly and staff helpful. Dinner was excellent and relaxed. Suggest reserving parking which is a few minutes off site

Wonderful stay - everything was excellent!

Definitely worth a stay! The meat and cheese for breakfast was exceptional, even within a country which prides itself on both. While this place can be hard to reach (especially around midday, when the local buses inexplicably stop running) it feels like a time warp, and the project to resuscitate this little village is impressive. My room had low ceilings, but since I am short this was oddly satisfying rather than challenging. The dinner was also delicious and well-presented.

Very interesting experience, kinda like sleeping in a fancy museum. It's created by a Swiss history preservation foundation but with a lot of modern twists - you stay in a super old traditional Swiss housing but it's made very modern inside.

Low ceilings at entry and in room meant I bumped my head several times Room air was pretty clammy - I understand no A/C (common in Switzerland) but a fan would be very helpful. I opened the windows to let night air in but then the bugs came

Corippo Albergo Diffuso is a Nice project that helps to keep living this old little traditional village. You’ll stay in an old little house which is renovate inside. Very good bed. Fascinating surroundings in the middle of nature. Good restaurant.

A little warm at night. A fan would have been nice.

Took the advice of a friend and booked on a whim, but were quite uninformed of where we were going. Arrived late at night and were absolutely mesmerized! Ceilings in our room were low, but added charm. Shared bathroom was never a drawback. The best shower head/water pressure in all of our European travels. Staff was warm, welcoming and willing to feed us despite our late arrival. Woke up to a lovely morning breakfast, incredible views and hillside wanderings.

～Style. Monastic, simple stone cottages scattered throughout the village ～Setting. Mountain village, sheer gorgeousness, wonderful staff ~ Explore. Nearby emerald river and waterfalls, walking along the one lane road to /from the hotel, each turn brings another panorama ~ Rooms: was in room 1 in the main cottage, comfortable and blissfully cocooned from the thunderstorm in the middle of the night ~ @ the hotel. Just across the square is the church, hotel rooms are scattered throughout the village, interesting conservation i.e. the revived ancient mill ~ Food & drinks. I was surprised at the quality of the food here, the freshness of the ingredients was evident, I even ordered the same salad twice and loved how chef Jeremy walked around constantly to greet his guests, when I checked in, also saw his gorgeous wife Désirée and their precious one month old twin girls ~ Prices. Moderate CHF315.50 ~Rating. 5/5 I was in Alba (Piazza Duomo), Lake Garda (Locanda del Benaco), Lake Como (Passalacqua) and here during this August trip. While I treasured every day on this trip, I have to say Corippo was my favorite experience, in terms of the location, the warmth of the team that runs this place, highly recommended !

Dinner at the Osteria was INCREDIBLE. Even if you are not spending the night, got eat there! Concise menu with plenty of offerings. I know the menu changes but I personally can not stop thinking about the nettles gazpacho with goat ricotta crostini- all ingredients local. Breakfast was local yogurt and fresh breads, exactly the type of foods I would like to begin my day with- perfect for exploring the surrounding waterfalls and valleys. The room was tastefully minimalist in styling with excellent bedding and near crippling water pressure in the huge bathroom. LOVED IT!
