Wish there was a hairdryer

Staff were friendly and accommodating, they spoke English so we had no issues communicating. The room was comfortable and clean. The mountain view was excellent. Location was really convenient as we were exploring the Grimselpass area on a motorcycle. The Complimentary breakfast was a big plus too. The restaurant had good food with a nice view and great service!

The property needs renovation and furniture replacement. The rooms do not have adequate soundproofing, so any noise from the adjacent rooms can be heard. They do not have their own bathroom, but only a shower and a sink.

The location of the hotel is a good one if you want to quickly reach the cable car from Fiesch. We rented 2 rooms with a large terrace and a very nice view. It's a good option for a night, especially if you're traveling with a dog (like us).

Wi-Fi didn't work much and in the room at all, according to what they said, it didn't work that day, so I don't know how it is usually. The toilet outside the room is not a bad idea, but if you are alone in the room, you don't like to lock the room all the time.

I slept here unplanned, so I was glad for the quick acceptance of the reservation. Despite the fact that the staff did not speak English very well or at all, they were always nice and tried to accommodate me and negotiate with me. Downstairs is a restaurant where they just had offers and wild game. The shower is right in the room, so you don't have to go anywhere.

The hotel is old, the doors are shabby, the chairs on the balcony are covered in pigeon droppings, there is no toilet in the room.

The hotel had a good breakfast and a polite waiter.

This is one of many small hotels in Switzerland that have not benefitted from investment for many years yet charge top money. Switzerland charges sky high prices which you do ot find in neighbouring Austria. This hotel badly needs updating : for example, there is no aircon, most of the rooms do not have a private bathroom, and there is no lift. We were lucky to get one of the few rooms with an en-suite bathroom. It did not appear clean and fresh, mainly because everything was old and had not been improved. We imagine it would have been exactly the same back in the 1980s ! Today, travellers expect more for their money !

In short, avoid! Rooms are old and dirty. No plugs and lousy internet. The whole place is utterly run down. For what ist is, price is not acceptable.

I guess this hotel is for skier in winter season because when I stay here I can see beautiful slope near hotel. So, for them I can't say anything, because I stay here in middle of june as cyclist after climbing Furka pass. Therefore, this review is for other people who want to stay here not ski season. Anyway it's totally nice to me. Dinner and breakfast was so good, and I stayed room has really big terrace (actually this terrace is public space for guests who staying 2th floor, but in my case it wasn't winter season then I used this terrace alone:-) I really enjoyed this place) I still remember the beautiful view that I can see at the terrace. And employees is also so kind. Of course :-)
