Interesting older style hotel. Flat though 15-to-20-minute walk from train station. Had a room just under the roof with a see-saw type window that flipped open for a mountain view. Pleasant staff were helpful. Shared space on a lower level with fridge, microwave, utensils etc is a benefit if you want to raid a supermarket and self-cater for a few meals. Breakfast in a large restaurant room was fine.

Could badly do with redecorating. Bathroom not very clean. Thin walls! The neighbours were speaking very loudly.

Good location. Nice staff. Basic room but reasonable price for Interlaken. A special thanks to the breakfast ladies for leaving me a breakfast picnic in the fridge (in the common area on the first floor) on the day I was leaving and catching a very early train.

The shower had ice cold water. It was difficult to use the water to shower. The water did not heat up at all. It was freezing cold.

Unfortunately there was no hot water and we were all looking forward to a nice warm shower. The staff tried to sort it out, but we were only staying for one night.

Room felt like a student room. Despite indicating our arrival time when booking the room we had to wait a good 10-15 minutes at the check in desk for someone to show up, which just happens to be in the restaurant downstairs which appears to have no relation to the hotel. Price was excessive for what you get, which essentially felt like a room in a shared house with a shared kitchen available which wasn't mentioned to us on check in. Our bed was pushed against the wall which severely limits the space you actually have. There are multiple rooms with balconies however I reckon almost none provide an actual mountain view so please don't waste your money booking one. If possible, book another hotel far in advance to avoid these ridiculous prices. We only booked here due to last minute travel changes and would not come back unless nothing else was available.

Central location, the hotel had an elevator as well. Staff friendly when present. Windows closed blocked out almost all noise from cars outside.

One thinks that the pillows could be a lot more fluffier but enjoyed the bed, the other thinks that the bed could be harder but enjoyed the pillows.

Since we came early they helped us store our luggage in a locked room, so we could enjoy our first day in Interlaken without carrying them around. The check-in process went smoothly and the receptionist tried her best to keep our company of 3 on the same floor, however one room had to be on a lower floor(1) since the other bigger rooms where fully booked. (She did this without us even having to ask). The room we stayed in was exceeding the expectations for the pictures of booking.com, however it will depend on the rooms, since they do differ. Exempel is how the shower/tub is set up and the age of the Portable AC/AC outlet. There was a common area with TV, and Computer/Printer, microwave, communal refrigerator where we could enjoy our brought in food together. Our room, despite being on the first floor right next to mentioned common area was really quiet and the door was solid with a electronic keycard lock. The room was also clean and smelled nice. In the early PM/evening when the HotPot restaurant downstairs was open you could smell the HotPot broth in the corridors but nothing made it's way into the rooms even on the first floor. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of breads, eggs, waffles, cheese, ham and so on. Also a selection of cold and warm drinks. It feels like the Hotel, looking at old(2023)-reviews really have stepped it up and we were positively surprised after our 3 days here.

we couldn't sleep properly due to the small and untidy bed. The mattress was old and uneven that it was difficult to sit even. Have asked the staff if I could get a replacement, but have been told that all the rooms has similar beds. There was no mirror in the room or a table. You have to go into the toilet to get ready. Though bed was made everyday but floor was never cleaned, dust was left as is. There was no safe in the room either. Not worth the money, there are better hotels around the area for the similar price. However staff at the reception was helpful and polite, particularly Iusha who was very sweet..

On our first day, we arranged for our room to get cleaned but when we came back the towels were just changed and the toilet wasn't really cleaned well. There were still hair strands all over the shower area.

The breakfast and the variety of food was great. We appreciate the gesture of helping us pack our breakfast as we needed to check out earlier on our last day.

Bed was super soft , I was literally swimming in the bed when I was trying to sleep.

It was a great place to stay on a budget, with everything easily accessible. The people were amazing, the service was excellent, and the overall attitude was genuinely positive.

The coffee machine broke on breakfast. Our bathtub was not clean (had hair and dirt in it). Above the head of one of the beds there was a nail on the wall not fully nailed which was dangerous. Also there were no lights on the ceiling of the room, just lamps next to the beds.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good. Next to parking spaces and a really good location.

This is a European 3 start hotel, so as expected, it has no climate control other than a radiator and the room is small. The building itself is 100 years old and the room has few amenities.

The free breakfast was good with hot a descent variety of different foods. Good value for the cost. The location of the hotel was excellent, being very close to both train stations of Interlaken and restaurants. The room was clean and quiet with a water kettle and instant coffee and tea.
