Beautiful view from our balcony and located a short walk from train station. Location was great and breakfast good. Wished we had AC (from USA) about an hour before bed but once we laid down things cooled off and we slept well.

We could have stayed longer, but that's on us!

The location was fantastic, situated on the main street in town, surrounded by restaurants and shops, and just a few minutes' walk from the train station and the Grindelwald First Gondolas. The restaurant was excellent as well, with a wonderful breakfast buffet each morning. I especially recommend the flammkuchen! The staff was extremely warm, welcoming, and helpful. We could not have chosen a better hotel for our trip!

Amazing place! The location is convenient between the train station and cable station. Only several minutes walk. The host is friendly and hospital. Love the breakfast and cheeze Fundue！

It is slightly expensive for one night stay

The staff was friendly at handling my request and answering my queries. The room was very clean and its cooling despite being in the summer. They even allow me to store my bags as I was very early.

No complaints

Friendly staff were very helpful and accommodating. Although we were on a tight timetable, we managed to partake in the fantastic breakfast. They also allowed us to store our luggage for the entire day after checkout. Close to restaurants and there is a supermarket just down the road.

I loved my stay at this hotel. The breakfast was the best, I miss their yogurt and fresh bakery:-). The room was clean and their duvet was the most lightest and warmest in my life. The personal was very friendly and helpful!

- The receptionist was very helpful, they helped us book our trips to Jongfrou and other tourist places. - The room size is good with a nice view. - The toilet was great with a bidet for cleaning.

1. First night, it was 8pm, they were LOUD noises upstairs and partying, we escalated it to the front desk thru call. I did not realized that it was allowed to have group sessions in the hotel. But after they have heard it, they said it was not acceptable. So they talked to the people who were partying upstairs. Good thing, after 5mins, it stopped. Maybe next time, first thing, they should have checked it on hand since people have entered the hotel in numbers. 2. First morning, we asked about the served meats in the buffet breakfast. Unfortunately, it was all PORK in any forms and cuts. That was very disappointing. They should have anticipated that there will be guests coming that are muslims and christians who are not also allowed to eat. They should have like varieties such as chicken, beef and pork. Or fish. Not “only pork”. When we told them the concern, the staff said, “you should have requested it before coming”. So what we did, we cannot eat pork of course, the next morning we brought and beef prosciuttos for our breakfast. 🙂

1. It is very accessible to everywhere. Very clean and neat. Very cozy and they let us upgrade to toom with balcony and Aiger Mountain View; 2. I love it that they’re fixing our beddings and they provided clean new linens and towels everyday; 3. Very spacious shower area; 4. So many yellow lamps and lights to choose from to what you want to use inside your room esp during night and siesta, since I really do love dim lights and lamps. 5. Very professional staffs, very helpful and accommodating.

The only downside was not having a kettle in the room, however we did appreciate the hot water in the foyer.

We had beautiful views from our room. The room was an excellent size and was very clean. It’s an easy walk to the hotel from the train station and is right in the Main Street of Grindelwald. We would absolutely stay here again.

The noise from tourists on the street can be quite noisy late at night.

The beds are 2 twin beds pushed together not a double bed. There was no hot food for breakfast

room is nice and comfortable. it has everything you need. the hotel does not provide kettle in the room, but they have a hot water station near reception so it is a plus point. it is located near the city centre and First station, so I have no problem with room without view.

the breakfast buffet was very limited and there wasn't even a coffee machine; you had to order the coffee. the regular resto menu was limited to swiss specialities.

the location was great - in the middle of the village. we had a room w/balcony but due to weather we couldn't enjoy the mountains (we went in march). the bathroom esp. the toilet was exceptional since it was a japanese toilet. the staff was friendly & helpful giving us info about the bus coupons etc....

The location is excellent with great amenities in the hotel. The sauna area is amazing, especially after long day of hiking and exploring. The staff are very kind and super helpful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Grindelwald.
