The staff and facilities were excellent. It is located near a lift that is very convenient without barely any noise from foot traffic.

It would have been nice to have a few gluten free options for dinner. We were surprised that basement lockers for luggage needed coins to lock them . We found this out right before we were to catch a train. Knowing this beforehand would have made it less stressful. We needed to walk suitcases up hill to hotel after arrival because we were unsuccessful in reaching hotel for pickup.

Comfortable and clean hotel . Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good with very nice staff. Coffee and tea in lobby appreciated. Room with balcony had great view. Balcony was good size and comfortable.

The view is wonderful. We were fortunate to have one out of two days that allowed us to travel to the top of Europe. Spectacular ! The rooms were very accommodating for two. Plenty of storage and a very comfortable deck for relaxing. Management was very accommodating. Had plenty of room to store luggage while you tour the mountains.

Nothing, just a note that hotel is a walk uphill from station & shops.

Set in an idyllic location, with views of snow capped mountains. Spacious accommodation with plenty of room to relax in common areas & take in the view. Generous buffet breakfast, tea & coffee available all day, walk downhill to restaurants or eat at hotel restaurant.

Be aware you can’t drive here and need to park a village over and get a 10 minute train but they let you know this when you book.

Super nice property in a small village that was really cute and you can take a cable car straight to Grindelwald and a cable car up the Jungfrau to the top. So was perfect.

quite small room especially if you go with big luggages, and no facilities in the room like kettle, etc so you cant make tea/coffee

The room that I got have a balcony, so it's very beautiful view from my room where I can see the mountain, etc. The staff also very nice,helpful and informative

I think the dinner menu wasn’t very broad and the walk to the hotel was hilly however the peace and the views justify the location.

I didn’t ask if they had any but it would have been even better if there were lactose-free options for milk and yoghurt for breakfast.

I really appreciate the excellent service at the front desk (thank you Hedi for all the excursion tips) and the restaurant staff - Sorry, I didn’t get her name but she was very friendly and was happy to stop to answer my stupid question - “which of those peaks is Jungfrau?” :) and also told us about the männlichen - kleine Scheidegg walk. The hotel is clean, comfortable and has a homey feel. It was a delight to see free real coffee at the lobby and twinings teas!

Initially, we are on first floor room and blocked by some trees. I talked to the front desk and they worked move up one floor fantastic.

Hotel is up a hill, would have been fine, except for snow/rain/freeze mix required more caution.

Friendly staff, especially Sarah at reception. Mountain lodge type of accommodations. Nice breakfast choices. Clean. Great that they pick you up with luggage at the train station.

The staff, location, kitchen, and breakfast were all excellent. Book a room with a view! We spent hours on the balcony just amazed at the dramatic beauty of the Lauterbrunnen Valley and Swiss Alps. A short walk to the gondola and train station. 100% recommend.
