The rooms were a little small, but a minor issue for us.

Clean, comfortable room. Exceptionally friendly and engaging staff, especially Hedi at the front desk. Good breakfast. We liked the coffee machine in the lobby. The facility is unique - a game room + library adjacent to the lobby which were nice.

Facilities could be updated, and we were told the owner will be investing into renovations later this year. Also, tried to get a ride up the hotel through booking messaging, but somehow those messages were not received until after we checked in.

Although the location is good (only 7 mins from the train station), it is a hike getting up to the hotel. I didn’t mind it though (saw it as a good workout lol)

Beautiful views from the property. The staff were wonderful and attentive. The rooms were clean but not sound proof (but this was very common at other places I stayed in Switzerland).

I'm giving this a hotel higher review than I feel it deserves. I like to support local busines and not chains. Note this my 3rd lof 7 lodgings in Swirzerland .I am now staying at #6 **All others received 5 star review**. In the last 15 months I have stayed in hotels over 130 nights traveling. Each of these items are easily curable if the hotel cards about its customers happiness Man at reception was not helpful. While I started to use the posted online ck in, he processed another guest who arrived later and finished before I did. Never offered alternative option to me. I had messaged that I was leaving Lauterbrunnen as requested, for pickup and there was no one at train. I walked up with luggage. This property very uphill (& it was hot) Another day I had a simple question the reception was talking with someone in next office (he could see me clearly waiting) he never said may I help or I'll be right with you...almost 10 min wait. What is more important than hotel guests? I asked housekeeping for a 2nd pillow, it never was delivered. The chairs aren't comfortable and I wanted to prop up in bed to work thru some emails.. Yes I booked a single room it was a double or queen bed. No luggage rack in room, only option is to use desk, bed or floor. The chairs have arms, luggage won't fit inside. Luggage on beds is not sanitary, on desk it defeats the purpose. Of a desk. A bench or something would be most helpful. Suggestions No storage space in bath Easy to install ĺ something under sink. Storage in bedroom is nice, it is far from bath area. A mini fridge would be helpful. There is a cooler in lobby with drinks to purchase. I small fridge keeps personal items cool. There was No ac or fan. It had been hot during the day, it cooled a bit at night with windows wide open. This deliverd No privacy as drapes would not close over windows.on 1st floor . I would not return here for my next visit to Wengen

Hotel with a very nice view, super friendly staff. Helped us a lot for recommendations and they went to pick us up from the terminal. The rooms were super clean and quiet which allowed us to rest. The breakfast was perfect, delicious and fresh.

A terrific view! Friendly, clean……..great breakfast. Excellent room on the 2nd floor facing right into the Jungfraujoch. Close by good restaurants. Generous amount of hot water for a good shower after wondereren.

The weather was a teeny bit hot and sunny while we were visiting. This was wonderful for Mountain View’s and hiking… but I tend to sleep hot and the room got a tiny bit hot during the day, so a little fan to help circulate the air would be so helpful. The hotel provided free coffee and tea in the lobby 24 hours a day but having a little plug in kettle to make hot water in the room would also be nice for us early risers who don’t want to disturb others guests. Neither of these minor details would stop us from staying there again. We’d definitely go back in a heartbeat!! I think this is one of the best hotels in the area. Thank you again for making us feel so welcome!

We were very lucky and got upgraded to the fourth floor suite! How blessed were we!! The views from the balcony were stunning, the size of the room was perfect for a weeks stay, it was clean and so quiet at night, even with the window doors all open. The ambience of the whole hotel from a warm welcome upon checking in, friendliness of all the staff, the breakfast, the flowers, the outside seating… And the location made it a wonderful jumping off point for many hikes or to just enjoy the quaint village. We felt like this was home away from home. Thank you for the perfect week!
