Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomSadly, when we arrived, the apartment hadn't been cleaned. There was rubbish piled up and washing up in the kitchen, rubbish on the table, beds unmade, towels on floor in the bathroom and full bins. There was no one around to speak to reference the cleaner. I contacted the owner, who very quickly arranged for it to be cleaned, although this meant leaving our luggage in an unsecured apartment for an hour while we waited outside for this to be completed. The weather was lovely and hot while we were there, a fan in the living room is provided but unfortunately only that window stays open. The others close when you push them open and we couldn't find how to keep them open for some breeze. Lastly, before we were ready to leave in the morning on day of departure, the cleaning crew were knocking on the door wanting to get in. When I said we weren't ready yet they were unhappy they'd need to wait. Ironic really considering we'd had to wait an hour the previous afternoon to access the apartment.
The apartment is very spacious and has a lovely view over the park on one side and out onto the street from the other.

Switzerland- The bathroom lighting is not working (always flashing) we had to use it in the dark. - The hotplates didn't work, we couldn't use the kitchen. - The toilet seat as broken. It was very instable. - we try to contact the service and we had always an answer that someone is going to contact us to solve the problem, but anybody contact us even if we call them. We were here for 3 days and it was not what we expected. - The cleaning service was yelled every morning. The insulation of the building is very bad, so it was very difficult to sleep well. They were not kind with us and didn't want to know anything about our problem. - ! Any room service every day, you have to bring your own dishwashing products ! - Impossible to find the TV command.

FinlandThe apartment was worn down and had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. The pipes were leaky and when taking the elevator to the 3rd floor we got stuck briefly. When informing the host we never got a response back. With great luck everything worked out, but incase we would have needed assistance, I don’t think we would have received it quickly.

SwitzerlandIt was designed by the intern: everything is somewhat bad. - the bed was too short, maybe 1.80m. just not quite long enough. And the headrest had parts coming off - the toilet is just a bit too high to comfortably sit on (avg. Sized male here, not to mention how it was for my smaller, female partner) - the shower curtain is outside of the shower, so water will pour down ok the floow - weird placements for power outlets on the wall - no light on the night stand - open light switch (as in "missing the plastic cover")
It was a (too small) bed in a warm room for a fair price with running hot water and good sound isolation to the outside. That's about it. You can stay in it, that works. Like survive. Without real comfort.

GermanyThe rooms overseeing the street, where there's a tram track, are very uncomfortable. The sound of trams passing by is very loud. Trams are very frequent and work late at night and start very early in the morning. It was almost impossible for me to sleep when every minute or two a tram passes by and rocks the room. Not recommened for light sleepers like myself. For a deep sleeper that doesn't get bothered with this kind of noise, then this hotel is a very good choice, especially from a price perspective.
