The breakfast was terrible. Better not to offer such a breakfast. The room old, needs some kind of renovation.

The area was good close to the old town.

Be warned that there is no lift as it is an old building in an old part of the city.

Great location, easy to find. Near the bridge across from the bears and rose garden

The bed was the softest i ever slept on The ventilation (air condition) too loud from 8am to 10pm The towels were so old or low quality they leave traces on my skin The small fridge in my room wasnt in a cabinet and i could hear the motor in the night The breakfast was the plainiest i ever had in a hotel

Really good location, bus stop near the hotel Nice and helpfull staff

Much to not like - the reception desk is simply a hole in the wall to the bar / restaurant that is on the other side of the ground floor. For breakfast you have to leave the hotel part to walk into the dining room - truly bizarre. Breakfast, really basic and not very interesting (also the breakfast items are kind of everywhere and difficult to find). Overall quality of the hotel is poor (fixings, walls, damage, floors that don't feel level). The dining room is pretty tacky with a sense of silver spray paint on certain objects and garish pink lights behind paintings and wall decorations - just poor style, in my opinion. Shiny and brash does not equal better. Finally, I found myself on a lightly blood soaked pillow case the next morning, something I'm pretty sure I had not caused (the next morning there was ZERO evidence of a cut or bleeding from my face) so the blood stain was already there on the other side of the pillow and during the night I had turned the pillow over to reveal it.

The room was relatively clean, and the Wifi worked relatively well. Very central and they can reduce the public car park price.

Everything was AWFUL! This is one of the scruffiest hotels I have never stayed in. The entrance is a tatty and tacky single door that reminded me of the old London Soho doors of old. Reception is a hole in the wall into the cafe next door and the waiter doubles up as a receptionist. From the front door is a really steep multi stepped staircase just right for those of us with heavy luggage and bad backs. Once we dragged ourselves up to the room .... one look at the unappetising decor and odour of decay, was enough to send us scuttling straight back down again to complain and try to cancel. No way Jose! No joy here. Reception just kept repeating we have your card details and "you must pay" ... you must pay! We called Booking.Co who put us on hold on and off for 45 minutes and were about as useful as a peashooter at Pearl Harbour. Even though it was night time already, we went off to the teashop across the road for a desperate trawl through last minute options, followed by an angry receptionist who i felt sure was going to Ny Deck me at any moment. Any room had to be better than that dump! And who knows what we might of caught. Lucky escape me thinks. BE WARNED!

Lots of stairs and no lift. Tiny room. Poor layout. Very few electrical outlets. Small "double" bed (don't think so) squashed into the corner. Poor lighting. Poor quality bed linen (so uncomfortable). Horrible, horrible 'sweat-sack' pillows. Coffee machine with only two coffee pods, but nowhere to plug it in. No air con - so hot had to leave windows open overnight - very noisy from bar below and street. Hardly slept at all, thanks to heat and noise. Extremely basic, 'continental' buffet breakfast, i.e. bread, ham, cheese, etc. Nothing covered, so food crawling with flies and wasps, so avoided it. Tissue box had previous occupants' hairs in. Bottle of water had already been used. Says it has a restaurant, but it doesn't.

Great location. Friendly staff. Very good shower. Good coffee at breakfast. Breakfast boiled eggs were painted pretty colours.
