Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNone of the rooms with lake view had walk in showers - despite mobility issues we were both able to access the low bath/shower. Hotels main customer base is large tour groups - this impacted negatively on reception desk access and the restaurant . Food generally very avarage . We somehow had dinner included in our package which resulted in two courses only ( appear to be the only guests in the hotel with this package) had same menu 3 out of 5 nights and really basic food . This option should be avoided at all costs
Friendly hotel close to trains, buses and boats. Had fantastic Premium room with view of lake - in fact lake edge was just across the road . large comfy bed

IndiaThe location of this hotel is behind Lucern's main train station, however it is a long walk if you have to carry your baggage. Not sure if the taxis would come for such short distance. This hotel is a good value for money with central location and big rooms. The room was very well planned with good sitting place and power points for charging at very convenient points in the room. The room was equipped with Nespresso coffee marker as well as electric kettle. Very traveler friendly hotel at good price.

Saudi ArabiaThe hotel smells old, signs of degradation are clear in the furniture and decor, I was expecting to sleep on a comfortable pillow, but for some weird reason the pillow was hiding inside the closet and not placed on the bed, I didn’t notice it until the day of checkout. They don’t offer private free parking, they claim they don’t own the parking garage. They charge CHF 32 per night, this is ridiculous. When I come to a hotel I expect to find a free place to park my car. I consider this place to be no better than a 1 star hotel. Many other privately owned apartments offer better services.
The staff were very friendly and helpful when I needed their help. They are quick to respond and care about my satisfaction.

United KingdomThe management team bar Olivia. The junior staff are fantastic and they are humble and want to please. And the restaurant staff are nice too for breakfast time. The management team appauling and despite a massive power outage there was no notification in an emergency. What would they do In a fire ? I would not feel safe staying here. The power outage was all over Luzern. But for some reason mine was the only room that the aircon unit had a massive road work drilling noise. We were left with migraines and no sleep that was difficult to catch up with such an active holiday. Jems the night manager handed over to the day manager. This day manager didn’t so far as even apologise. She was rude and ignored us and ran in to the back office when she saw us. Olivia kindly upgraded us at night time once again avoid staying here.

Hong Kongthe hotel is supposed next to the train station, but i need to walk 9 min in fact. With this walking distance, i can reach the other side of the bridge. There will be more choices. There is a renovation outside my window. That is really un-acceptable. That means i have a room without window. It should not be serving guests.
the bed is good, and various pillow in the room.

SwitzerlandA mobile phone cable and a pair of new sneakers were forgotten in room 406 on Tuesday October 3. My husband wrote you an email and the answer was that nothing was found. Which probably means that someone from housekeeping has those items. Would be be nice to receive these items. Can also comment on trip advisor.

United KingdomThe fact that it prioritised getting rooms ready by 12 noon for new arrivals when the stated checkin is 3pm at the cost of two days running with bed not made up by 4pm I had to ask for someone to make it up. Tourists will often go back to their room after lunch and to be unable to shower as no dry towels is ridiculous. The in-room tea/coffee supply was miserly. Two teabags per day in a room with two people. One cup each per day.

South AfricaNo coffee machine. Apparently only the best rooms have coffee machines. Having stayed at lots of Radisson properties around the world, this was first. Bathroom is an opaque 'glass box'. No real privacy and if you turn the light on at night it illuminates the whole room. Aircon works well, it was super hot during our stay, but gave me a sore throat. Hard to get a balance between cooling and icy. The lounge and breakfast areas not as inviting as what we are used to with other Radisson hotels. just a bit clinical.
We were upgraded ad room was nice size. Location was very convenient being walking distance to train station and a stroll away from the old town. Lovely being close to the lake.

Hong KongDo not quite understand why there is extra charge for takeaway from the hotel restarant. There isn't much dining options nearby the hotel, luckily the only nearby option is an italian kitchen right opposite to the hotel, which serves very nice food.
The corner room was in a good size, with large windows facing the train station and the lake thus we had plenty of views from the room.

GermanyWe were refused the room upgrade because of the early check-in, even though I mentioned the arrival time at the time of booking. I booked a room with one large bed, but instead we were given 2 single beds. Requested a room with bath-tub but it was not available. Refrigerator in the room did not cool enough despite the hot weather. When asked for the ice cubes, reception informed that delivery to the room will cost 8 CHF, else pick up on your own from the restaurant. The restaurant menu had very limited options. Highly over-rated and staff doesn't really bother about your concerns. Never had such experiences in other Radissons I stayed before. Better choose another option nearby.
Location of the hotel is just next to the lake and the main station. Breakfast was fine.
