Just like last tome we went there, there is a bad smell as soon as you enter the hotel; hygiene of the rooms, of the breakfast area is not as it should be. Staff working in the breakfast area lacks coaching and coordination. Friendly but chaotic.

Noticiable yellow stains on the toilet seat and shower door. Mold on the corner of the shower-wall. The moment I connect the hair dryer the plug went off… a little scary if you travel with kids. the space in the room with the table and bed was cleaner though.

The receptionist was really polite and brilliant, lobby looks clean and spacious. Really nice variety of food at the breakfast buffet. Bed was nicely and comfy.

Saturday night was a bit noisy. Sunday much better though so probably due to the weekend.

Great location, the pool was big and opened from 6h30 to 21. Very close to the Zoo and tram line 6 and 10 which seems to be the essential ones.

The parking charge I felt was unreasonable as a hotel guest 30CHF per 24hrs. The pool was cold, ok for swimming, but too cold for relaxing in.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was very clean. The location is good.

Easy access to the train station. Spacious room and worth checking out the large pool and sauna/steam room. Breakfast buffet was offered with the room which had a lot of variety.

NO PARKING AT THE HOTEL BUT THERE IS A PARKING FACILITY UNDERNEATH THE TRAIN STATION NEARBY. PRICES EXTREMELY HIGH COSTING 75 SWISS FRANKS OVERNIGHT.SOME DIFFICULTY FINDING A PLACE TO STOP THE CAR TO UNLOAD SUITCASES . WE MANAGED TO STOP BEHIND THE HOTEL BUT THE STAFF KEPT TELLING US THAT THE POLICE COULD COME ANY MINUTE AND FINE US. WE DID NOT SEE ANY TRAFFIC POLICE.

The swimming pool was cold as it was indoor and not heated. However the changing room was big and clean.

Location is great, walking distance from Basel SBB train station and can be reach to the city by tram. The check in was quick, Stephanie welcome us at the reception was very friendly and helpful. We took premium room, it is clean and spacious.

The bathroom was a bit small and crammed , one of the power sockets at the bed was not working.

The location is very good as a part of the city’s main attractions are very close by foot so you can navigate easily , the rooms were clean , Ali at the reception was very kind and friendly and he even gave us the breakfast free of charge , very friendly and welcoming staff. The room was nice and tidy even had an iron and an ironing table which in my experience is not very common in hotels and definitely came in handy. Ah yes they also gave us free tickets for local public transport which is definitely another plus. The pool was nice as well.

We had an issue with the air conditioner which was quickly and well addressed by staff.

The hotel is well located, served with public transportation, restaurants and touristic points. Comfortable, cozy and modern installation. Staff well trained. Great breakfast, variety and quality food.

There was no parking available in the hotel, had to drive to find an alternative parking garage which was fun given I didn’t know the surroundings. There was an incident during check in, which was however swiftly and professionally resolved by the reception staff. I found the bar service lacking and the staff not super friendly. There were people sitting outside without anyone paying any sort of attention to them for quite a while (30 mins or so)
