The incredible uninterrupted view of the Eiger from our private balcony made this stay unforgettable. Cannot beat the location in the centre of the village, you can easily walk to everything including the main train station & the gondola. Beds were super comfortable and the room is very cosy, traditional Swiss chalet vibes.

I don’t know where to start. We had an wonderful experience at Hotel Tschuggen and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. The room was clean and cozy and we all slept well. We appreciated the space in the family room (with bunks) for our kids. The Eiger views from the balcony were breathtaking during the day but even more so as the sun was setting. The breakfast was delicious and got our days full of activities off to a great start. All of the staff were delightful.

The view from the balcony was excellent. Hotel is located in the middle of the centrum. We liked and enjoyed possibilities to move everywhere without car. People on the reception are very nice too.

We loved this hotel. The owners were so helpful and engaged with every aspect of the hotel. They stored our luggage, allowed us in our rooms early, let us use the refrigerator and they were so helpful with giving advice for activities and planning our travel to our next destination. Above and beyond. The beds and rooms were comfortable and breakfast was awesome. Thank you.

Stunning location with absolutely amazing views to the rear of the property over the mountains and countryside. Great size balcony to just chill and soak up those views. Good breakfast. Easy walk to station. Short walk to Eiger Express cable car which can be seen from your balcony. Glacier Canyon also visible.

This hotel's location was really good!! just 5 minute walk away from Grindelwald station! Also breakfast so amazing with bread, cheese and coffee!! best of all is great and kind employee and reception!!
