Not much parking, it´s close to a public one but can be very expensive for long stays. Breakfast could offer more variety but it´s not bad.

The location is great!! very close to restaurants and the cable cars for First Cliff (very recomended for a day trip!). The Staff is very friendly and the rooms are big and comfy (we also had a great view to the Alps). The breakfast is good, not many options but it´s made with great care. I´d deffinitely repeat my stay if I go there again!

The only negative thing, was not the hotel, but the area, there were noises at evening/night, which made sleeping hard. I fortunately brought my plugs for noice reduction, but if you like me, are a bit noice sensitive, and need deep sleep, then it was a bit annoying. (especially on the weekly festival day in the city)

Such a great location at the middle of the coty part of Grindelwald, with easy connection to many great hiking areas. The owners are very kind and service minded, they made the experience very great.

We really enjoyed our stay, with a first class view of the Eiger and private deck.

The owners were awesome and accommodating, the hotel location is convenient to everything, but felt like a quiet sanctuary in our room.

The location of the chalet is great, pretty close to first cable station and grindelwald train station. the view from the room is amazing, great location to watch eiger at different timings. the croissant served during breakfast are great!

Grindelwald itself is busy, including with tour groups. The hotel parking is limited and quite tricky.

The hotel is in the centre of Grindelwald and our room had great views of the Eiger and surrounding mountains. Breakfast was good ( there is no restaurant, but plenty within walking distance}.

We got room facing street and the hotel is right on the main street and a restaurant. It was noisy the whole night. Room was hot and we opened the window and could not sleep at all. Please find some other location if not ask for room facing the mountain.Got a room with shared bathroom.

Vertiginous stairs to room were scary- made taking suitcases hard work. There was no hot water for a shower. This was very disappointing. Fortunately we only stayed one night. There was a kettle but no cups to be able to make a hot drink. The room at the front was noisy with drunk tourists in the middle of the night.

Property was fine. Staff were fine. As modest Muslim women we did get a couple of awkward looks esp around breakfast but I guess they weren’t use to seeing Muslim women?

The breakfast was a bit minimal but worked. The hotel is a bit on the older side.

View is amazing. Right in the middle of town for easy access. Clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly - family owned and run.

The hotel is very aged, so are all the furniture, the room size is very small, we found it hard to open our suitcases. Lighting not bright enough. Bathroom is very small. Restaurant is quite small, sometimes customers have to wait to get a table. Bread, croissants and one egg are allocated, not buffet style. Fruit and cold meat are quite limited. Perhaps Grindelwald is more expensive than Lucerne and Zermatt, my hotels in these areas have better value.

It’s close to Grindelwald Station. We booked a room facing Eiger Mountain so that’s the best of our stay. The host was accommodating, as we needed to check out early, so the host had prepared a breakfast bag for us and let us store our luggage after the excursion.
