Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

DenmarkWe had to buy toilet paper etc ourselves. Also the air condition was just a fan, not a real air condition but it did the work.
This was a great place to stay. The location was amazing and it felt very safe. It was located right next to the busy streets filled with shops and the buzzing life of Santiago. On top of the apartment there was an amazing pool with fantastic view over the whole city of Santiago. I would definitely recommend this place to explore the city. The reception were also very kind people.

United KingdomThe curtains didn’t fully shut so there was a light shining through the window all night. Check in was also a bit difficult
Great apartment, a little of the small side but a ideal base and the pool is a bonus

United KingdomAircon would be good but they do provide a fan.
This was our second stay at the VR suite. As mentioned in our other review the rooftop pool was the attraction which is located on the 30th floor (accessed via block B lifts between 10am and 2pm and between 4pm and 8pm). This time our arrival was very late but the keys were left at the reception desk. Room was comfortable and adequate, very good value. Location is central and there is a supermarket across the road.

United KingdomAircon would have been good but there was a fan and the windows open so not a big problem. As for an upper floor to get further away from street noise.
The roof top pool on the 30th floor is the star attraction of the VR suites. Some reviews say it is difficult to access but it is open 10am to 2pm and 4pm to 8pm and can be accessed from the 30th floor on block B. If in Block A go to floor 20 and use the linking walkway to the other block. Sometimes it is busy but not always. The view from the roof is fantastic as there are very few blocks that high in Santiago. The suites are also in a very central location, easily accessible by taxi or public transport and walkable from most places in the centre. There is a supermarket just across the road and restaurants nearby. The room was comfortable and furnished reasonably well.

CanadaSince you're in the heart of the city, it is very busy and noisy even at night with cars and trucks and city noise, so if you want a quiet place to stay it's not gonna make it.
Cool Place in downtown Santiago. Comfy bed and there is all you need in the apartment. The place is clean and perfect for a single night. Great service at the reception, I've even been offered a coffee while waiting for the check-in to be done.

Location, Location, Location. Swimming Pool is Nice being on the Roof but can be crowdy because of how much flats there are in the building.

CanadaA dish towel, some paper towels or serviette’s, and maybe salt and pepper. There is a pool somewhere but you need permission from the owner. Same goes for laundry so we didn’t bother to ask so didn’t get to use.
The room was compact but had everything we needed for 3 nights. We had twin beds and they were very comfortable and the blankets and pillows were great. There was a small table and chairs. No racks to put luggage on so our backpacks sat on the floor. It wasn’t a huge issue. There is minimal cutlery and plates. Only enough for two people so it worked okay for us. Don’t plan on cooking fancy meals. Basically we got what we paid for.

CanadaThere isn't much that could have been imporved upon! The place could have been a little cleaner, but it wasn't a big issue at all!
Marcello was amazing! He arrived early to meet my family members who arrived in the early morning. He set them up (including with a transit card) and then met my husband and me when we arrived in th early eveining. While we waited for our family members to arrive, he made us each a cup of espresso (with a little biscuit) and visited with us a bit (interesting with my limited spanish). Location is pretty central. With 7 of us travelling together, it was wonderful to have a place with a kitchen and enough bedrooms/beds to accommodate all in one place!

Netherlandssomething the host isn’t responsible for, but the room was on the 28th floor and there was only one lift that worked, so that meant waiting times in front of the elevator. a little inconvenience but nothing major. other than that: no notes! we loved it!
we loved that our room was split-level. it was a very spacious apartment. it was very clean, the people were incredibly nice and personal and the location was perfect.
