Everything! It was truly special! The room was beautiful, romantic, everything we hoped for. Guilin is a magical place. Everyone was so nice and helpful. They helped us organize our time and some tours. Highly recommend to go for the private car service. Breakfast was so good with both chinese and western options.

Great location - you can walk easily to many places of interest in Guilin, and walk around and across the lakes. The room was beautifully furnished and the view was of trees, lakes and mountains. Delicious breakfast buffet with lots of Chinese and Western options including fresh fruit, eggs, etc. Very helpful English-speaking staff who can arrange tours and recommend restaurants and places to visit.

The room was great, it had a nice view and it was quiet. The breakfast room is really nice and the breakfast was good. The personal was always helpful and they organised a driver to get to the rice Terrace. The driver was really great.

All the staff speak good English and responded to messages promptly. Very good at recommending restaurants and places & activities worth going. Their breakfast was good. Staff are very accommodating. Good hotel to be if you don’t speak mandarin. They help book pick up van, English speaking tour guide-driver to take all 6 of us to Longji Rice Terrace and ethnic villages and River cruise to Yangshuo. Good service, saving us the worry of buying the wrong tickets during our stay in Guilin!

Located right by a lovely lake with a nice walking path, this inn has wonderful ambience. The artwork throughout is well appreciated! Breakfast is soooo good with the best rice noodles we had anywhere on our whole trip!

Nice hotel directly at the river. Our room seemed newly renovated. Really nice view from the restaurant on the 5th floor. great location to walk into town and to the Pagodas etc. Staff also spoke decent English

Breakfast lacks variety and vegan options.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a prime location with views of the lake from the breakfast room. Comfortable bed, excellent toiletries, romantic tea table, antique furniture. Staff speak good English and are very friendly.

Got swayed to go on the li river tour rather than the rice fields that we wanted to go on because of the rainy season - a shame because the boat tour is very expensive and not worth the money. Go to the rice fields whatever the season!

A gorgeous hotel, made even better by the very kind, attentive and efficient staff. Situated right on the lake within walking distance of the Pagoda's, night market and Elephant hill. The ladies on reception are delightful. All speak excellent English and arranged our onward travel including a cruise to Yangzhou without a hitch. Can't recommend this place enough, it was wonderful.

It was a very ancient hotel, full of charm and artefacts. There was a restaurant / bar upstairs with lovely view over the river. The staff speak perfect English. Room and breakfast were fantastic.

Traditional Chinese art in the hotel, very comfortable and clean rooms with window seat overlooking the lake. Lovely view from the breakfast room. Location adjacent to the lake and park around which we enjoyed walking

There was a small misunderstanding about the room we booked, but nevertheless our stay was very good.

The hotel is placed at a strategic position in the hearth of Guilin, in front the Rongshan Lake, there are also nice pubs in the area. The staff was always kind and helpful. The breakfast was good and it was served in a room with an amazing view on the surroundings.

Small boutique hotel that filled up fast so book early to get the room that you want!

Located near main Guilin attractions on Rong Lake with historical artifacts and traditional tea leaving you feeling immersed in Chinese culture! Room was spacious and clean with gorgeous picture window overlooking the lake. A variety of options for breakfast included a taste of traditional Guilin rice noodles! Staff were so kind and helpful with suggested activities and bookings. Fantastic home base for day trips to surrounding attractions like Longji rice terraces and Li River cruise!

Everything was perfect.

Beautiful property with well done rooms having a stunning view of the lake. The beds were big and comfortable. Nice and fresh towels and all toiletries were provided. The view from the restaurant was amazing. Service was exceptional. The staff were ever smiling and helpful and also helped us book our tours. Very near to the city attractions.

The hotel boasts a prime location, an exceptionally spacious room, and a stunning view from the window. The building itself was a delight, almost like staying in a museum. The breakfast spread was rather lovely too. We had originally planned just a one-night stay, but it would have been well worth extending our visit.
