United StatesEverything we experienced was to our satisfaction.
Location and facilities are exceptional, as expected. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help with questions and matters about the hotel, restaurant, and facilities. They even helped with questions about the surroundings and how to arrive at a given location. The cleanliness of the room and the supplies in our room meet a 5-star hotel and above. The food at this hotel was of high quality, even as a buffet-style restaurant. I will stay there again when I come back to Guangzhou.

OmanI would have liked it more if the breakfast was more international than local, but given the number of foreign visitors compared to Chinese, I can understand that.
All the reception staff are very wonderful, and very cooperative, especially employee number 12. The hotel is very clean and beautiful. The beds are comfortable and the personal hygiene tools are of high quality.

ThailandMy family and I had a great stay at this hotel in Guangzhou! The location is perfect—close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. Our rooms were very clean, quiet, and super comfortable. Everything felt fresh and well taken care of. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again! We had a truly enjoyable stay at Arthur Hotel LiWan Coco Park during the Canton Fair. While the hotel offers an airport shuttle, they recommend taking a taxi instead—which we found to be more cost-effective when using Alipay (just $3–$4 USD to the fair, compared to around CNY 200 otherwise). What really stood out was the hospitality. Simon and his team were incredibly attentive—quick to respond to messages and genuinely caring. Simon made an effort to learn every guest’s name and even provided snack bags for our return trip from the fair. It felt more like staying with family than at a hotel. The shuttle service runs twice daily to and from the Canton Fair and was reliable and punctual. The hotel itself is a small boutique property, and while there is new construction still in progress around the area, it didn’t interfere with our stay. In fact, the rooms were more modern and better designed than some of the larger, pricier hotels we’ve stayed at. Every inch of space was thoughtfully used, featuring smart gadgets and a surprisingly spacious layout. Breakfast was another highlight, with a generous spread of both local specialties and American-style options. Overall, this hotel offers great value, comfort, and personalized service. Highly recommended, especially for Canton Fair visitors.
