Fabulous location beside the bridge and 10 mins walk from the old town square. Staff were lovely, greeted us with a cold glass of orange on arrival, given the heat that day was much appreciated. The room was spacious & very clean. Good toiletries, shower gel, shampoo & body lotion. Also I good quality ‘proper’ hairdryer, which matters. The rooms were quiet & I never heard any noise from other rooms, eg anyone walking above us or to the side. Breakfast was very good. Always stocked up. Wide selection of fruit, seeds, yogurt. Various breads, cheese, ham and salad. Hot options included bacon, sausage & eggs (fried or scrambled) plus another item which varied, beans, rice or vegetables when I was there. Plus hot drinks & various juice options.

One coffee machine so there was always a queue.

The room was huge and en-suite was immaculate. Fresh and Clean. The staff's training was exceptional - everyone we interacted with was welcoming, and they were genuinely glad to see us. The breakfast staff were on hand to refill the buffet. I think the central location make this charming hotel a really a great place to stay for sightseeing in Prague.

The beds are hard. The shower was slippery and nothing to hold on to; no bar on the walls to grab. You could hear doors of other rooms close quite clearly so soundproofing could be better in that respect.

One drawback, no comfortable lounge to have a coffee/drink when you're back from a day walking about. You don't always want to sit in the bedroom.

I would encourage the Management to improve the following : - For some reason the staff (working during day hours) was not welcoming. Asking 1 question is the max that you can do without having the impression to bother them. I have noticed that sometimes people (I believe not working for the hotel) stop at the reception desk and have a chat with the staff. So they make you feel uncomfortable, like you are disturbing them, if you have a request or question. I believe smiling and having a "warm" attitude is key when you work at the reception. The man working at night is the total opposite : very kind and helpful. - I was not told that there were free water (with citron flavour) available on the side of the reception - I founded quite unfortunate that they do not provide at least 2 bottles of water in the room when we arrive. - I was on the first floor, my room was quiet (even if i was close the stairs) but it was a bit dark if the light was not switched on. The bathroom is designed but too dark. So i put my make up in the room with light on. (Look at the pictures, difference between light on and off)

I appreciated : - The size of the room (i think I was upgraded - so thank you !!!) - The location, in the old town. 5 to 7mn walk to Charles Bridge. 10 to 12mn walk to the Astronomic Clock. - Breakfast was amazing served from 7 to 10 am!! - Breakfast rooms are also nice - Good mattress, nice towels, shower products - If you ask (with the sign - hidden in the cupboard), your room will be clean - Full-length mirror in the room - Air Conditioning is available and quiet - Despite the stairs, there is an elevator next door which allow you to avoid the stairs if you cannot walk much or have a heavy luggage. I would suggest to inform in advance the clients so we are not shocked when we discover the number of stairs.

The decor in the public areas was not to my taste, and although there was a bar it didn't seem to be used. Plenty of choice nearby so not really a problem. The room itself was decorated in dark colours and the lighting was insufficient.

The location close to Charles Bridge was ideal for visiting the main sights of Prague, but the hotel is tucked away in a side street so not too noisy. The room was very quiet and a good size, the air conditioning was quiet and efficient, and the bed was really comfortable. Our bathroom had a great wetroom shower. There was a good choice of both cooked and continental breakfast, and decent coffee. Reception were friendly and very helpful ordering taxis etc and stowed our luggage after check-out until we were ready to set out for home.

When you are sleeping in a room on the street side , don't open the windows during the night,use the airco because there is a lot of people walking and talking in the street.

Pillows need changing as they were too soft. No milk to make tea or coffee. No bottled water provided. Not enough options for breakfast especially for kids.

Lightning in room could be better. Altough the wheather is so cold, the status of the air condition for the whole hotel was turned to summer. So they give us a heater to keep the room warm…
